First time here, I’ll be a regular now. Such a quality hoagie shop, meticulously clean, beautifully decorated on the inside, bathrooms well taken care of. The service was impeccable, top notch, better service than you’ll find anywhere else nowadays. You can tell this locations staff actually care. The hoagie itself was so good, tender succulent turkey, fresh airy bread, generous amounts of roasted red peppers & sharp provolone. I have to stop myself from going back and getting it again tomorrow. It’s a slap in the face to call this anything other than a quality hoagie shop.

Being from Phila, I am always hesitant about hoagies. To my absolute surprise, I had a Turkey hoagie and it was amazing. The roll was perfect (seeded of course), Ken’s mayo (I ordered extra – hey I am from Phila). SO much hoagie, extra pickles as well.. They most certainly did not skimp, this hoagie was a Beast but a good Beast. I took half home to the hubby to try. Definitely worth the time and effort. If yo want a fresh, full hoagie Primo’s does not disappoint. Next visit I am going to take the risk of an Italian!!

I walked into an empty shop a little after 1:30, reviewed the menu and placed my order for an Audiablo. The employees appeared to be going about their tasks in a relaxed way, probably because their lunchtime rush was over – no big deal. After I place my order, I went and sat to the side to watch TV while I waited. After a couple minutes, I snapped some photos to upload to Google (timestamp 1:40).
A couple other customers come in and order. At 1:52, I notice one of the other customers that came in after me got to sandwiches and was sitting down to eat one. I ask, what gives? “Oh well, yours is cooking now and takes a lil longer. We’ll call your name when it’s ready.” Fine. By 2:02, I had enough waiting and go to check on it again. Oh, there it is, sitting in a bag on the table behind the counter.
Are you serious? Took over 20 minutes to make a sandwich and then when it’s ready, you don’t tell me even after I’ve had to check on it?!? Just… wow.
Sandwich was fine, but caked in onions. I like onions, but no one likes that many onions.
Tl; dr: call your order in ahead of time unless you don’t have anywhere to be for the next hour or two.

Coming from San Diego to visit my good buddy that lives here, Primos was the first and last meal of my excellent trip. Starting with an amazing hoagie with long hots and extra provolone, and then closing with a legit cheesesteak wit whiz and onions. The owner is such a cool guy that obviously deeply cares about his food and service. This place is 10 outta 10, would highly recommend. I’ll be back soon. Thank you so much for the best Philly food experience of the trip.
