I know, this isn’t the cheapest place for having a sandwich BUT believe me, it’s totally worth it.

We have been going to Primo Hoagie for years. Today we ordered our sandwiches and took them home. We first noticed that the bread didn’t look the same and taking a bite we all said the same thing! “ The bread is different! It’s too chewy!” To be certain I called the primo hoagie shop and spoke with the manager. I asked if they changed the hoagie rolls and he said “ Yes it’s fresh”. I’m sorry to say I will not be paying the Primo price for these “Sub”par sandwiches!! The staff are terrific but the product sucks!

Unfortunately Primo has changed out their roll, I am sure financially motivated, to a more subway type roll. When I go into a primo establishment I know before entering I will be paying more. I made the decision to come here because the hoagies were the best. Now they are just average similar to all the other pizza shops and subways in the area. Unfortunately it is no longer worth the higher price. Being a fellow Philadelphian, primo knows that the roll is the signature. It’s like buying a corvette with a corolla engine.

First time at a Primos…was referred to by a friend…Loved the hoagies but the side order was forgotten by employees. Actually, was asked to help myself and grab it from the case. Probably better if I had not gotten it as your whole pickles were not “fresh” at all, seemed like they’ve been there for some time. Time to change the pickles! Will be back again and would recommend

This location really needs to get it together. I called in an order and the dude made me a ham & cheese sandwich instead of a ham & cheese diablo hoagie. How do you mix that up? Then he remade my hoagie and forgot the cheese. It’s not a ham & cheese diablo if it doesn’t have cheese. What a waste of my BOGO birthday coupon!

If you are new to trexlertown and are hungry for a sandwich you should seriously consider paying PrimoHoagies a visit. Every sandwich is made fresh right in front of you in their open kitchen. They have a wide variety of chips and drinks with fresh pickles and bread. The food is outrageously good and people, friendly.

Sandwiches were very good and fresh. Can tell they use quality ingredients. The prices are really high for a sub.

I’ve been patronizing this shop since it opened and it’s slipping in terms of order accuracy and quality. This is the 3rd time we’ve picked up our order and none of the sides were included – missing all of them. One of the subs (a corned beef and Swiss) has barely any meat on it, and has no mustard (as ordered). I called last time to report this and the person who answered was far more concerned with going home than making my order right as she was quick to tell me they were closing in 15 min, so we sucked it up. For the price you pay, this is unacceptable.
