the staff is nice, i really like the 1/2 off deal as i ended up saving some money, and the slices are nice and big. however, i found a long strand of hair coming out the box which grossed me out immensely. hair in food is a huge no no but i decided not to make a big deal out of it since they seemed pretty busy and i didn’t wanna be fussy. second, the pizza is just ok. i’ve had far better but it’s not terrible

First time ordering from Primo Pizza tonight! I was immediately happy with the kindness of the person that answered the phone (don’t know his name, but he was wearing a hat and had a beard lol)…. the pizza is delicious and the service was awesome! Definitely adding Primo Pizza to my list of favorites pizzas in the area.

I see the business has replied to my review. I wanted add, yes I did receive a voice-mail.
My issue as to why I did not call back is yes I understand this was an error. What I don’t understand is someone clearly took out, saw & placed that pizza(?) into the box and sent it to a customer.
No one said anything until I made a review. Literally minutes after I posted the original review I received the voice-mail, while I was driving to go get something else to eat, btw. I really have no interest in trying a 3rd time, especially with the many poor quality pizza/Italian restaurants within this delivery area. I’m not interested in a refund or anything. Thanks.

4.5? This is what I got, a personal pan pizza for $10 plus taxes & delivery fee. Lmmfao I’m guessing most cannot even guess which specialty( special lol) pizza this is. And no, it’s not the burnt slop specialty pizza.
I included 2 photos with & without the flash. Doesn’t matter it tasted as disgusting as it looks. And went instantly in the trash after one gross bite.
Side Note: do people in CT not know how to actually cut a pizza? Is it that challenging or is it difficult to slice hard chewy gross doe. Hmmm.

Loved it, if you are looking for a NY style pizza @primopizza is the best and accesible. Loved the flavor, the crust everything about it. Will definitely go back for more first time trying it and from all pizzerias in CT I can say this one is now my top fav❤️

Horrible experience I been coming here for many many years. If I could give this place a zero I would. June 18,2025 Wednesday me and my family order a couple pizzas where we paid the driver $31.68 including a tip total it out to $35 which was cash compared to card where you have to sign for it. Later on that night the manager called and try to excuse me of not only stealing pizza but not paying for it. When I have cameras around my house that prove that I went outside and pay cash and the delivery guy put the money into his pocket after he given me the receipt. Again why would anyone place an order and not pay for it I would think the delivery person would have called the store and say the customer didn’t pay for the food with cash or credit card. Very unprofessional and stereotype why wait until closing to call about a customer didn’t pay mind you this was 4 hours ago make it make sense. You need to check on your delivery staff who’s not returning the money at the end of the day or the receipts I would think the delivery person keeps all the receipts from each person and count the money from the deliveries they have done that day.
Again if primo pizza want to be sue for false allegations wrongfully excusing someone for not paying for their pizza order that’s fine I do have evidences from the receipt I paid cash not credit card along with ring cameras zoom in showing the delivery guy put the money in his pocket after handing me the pizza. The Monday-Thursday pick up special is the best deal around by a country mile. The pizza is very good, and ordering online is super-simple… even doing things like half-and-half specialty pizzas for when your family can’t agree.
Just the thing for those nights when you’re just not up to cooking.
The deal did change recently. It used to be half-price for large pizzas if you go pick it up. The discount is a little less now but still an incredible value. Highly recommended.
