It’s been a couple of years since I have eaten here, not sure why it’s been so long in between visits.
Let me tell you, this is as good as it gets for Italian food for me in the area since I moved here from Brooklyn, NY.
The service was excellent, my glass was barely half empty before it was refilled.
The chicken parm reminded me of Brooklyn, cooked to perfection…my only complaint would be the sauce (gravy), it was a bit watery for my taste, I love a thick, hearty sauce.
The bruschetta was the best that I have had since I moved here 5 years ago. If you haven’t tried it, do yourself a favor and try it, it is that good!
I look forward to trying more dishes here in the very near future….

Went on a weeknight. Wait staff was great. It was busy but there was no wait. Food was just okay due to the beef and chicken being cooked extra well done. My beef tips were hard. Good flavors overall. Free parking lot out front.

We were looking for quality food for dinner and Primo did not disappoint. We got the absolutely delicious cheese pizza, wings, cream of crab soup and for dessert the cannoli dip (which was amazing ) I forgot to take a picture of the dessert, but no worries I will be getting it again soon and will add the picture
(2).We loved everything we had! We got lobster ravioli, crab dip, wings, pistachio chicken, Chesapeake pizza, garlic shrimp and crème brûlée, chocolate cake and the most delicious cannoli dip (so amazing!) our server was Bela she was absolutely wonderful and very attentive 🙂

Best Italian food I’ve ever had. The service was quick and it wasn’t super busy on a Saturday night. Honestly the portions were huge and I couldn’t finish my plate!! We got the fried calamari, risotto, and carbonara. Worth every penny! Go support this place!!!

My favorite local spot for solid Italian food. It’s not too fancy, but fancy enough. It has ‘character’ Wait staff are nice and attentive and food is top notch. I’ve never had a bad dish here.

The food here has been absolutely amazing. We have had the pizza, meat lovers & Margherita, AWESOME. The pasta, amazing. We recently had their Christmas special short rib, hands down the best short rib I have ever had. The sides that go along with it, absolutely top tier! Highly recommend visiting.

My fiancé and I went here tonight. It took a while for our food to come out but it’s Saturday night, I get it. Our server, Andrew, was quick with drink refills and knew the specials and menu very well. My fiancé didn’t like that one of the busers had asked if we wanted bread instead of our server, and that it took the server a bit to initially come to our table, but it was busy, so I thought that was fine. What irked me was how long it took for the food to come out and then it wasn’t worth the wait. My fiancé got the Italian wedding soup and Eggplant Parm, he said both were good but again, not really worth the wait. I got the Salmon Casino, which is labeled on the menu as a signature dish. It was okay, I liked the sauce and the salmon itself but the crab on top was cold when it had literally just come out of the kitchen, which we happened to be seated near. Usually a signature dish defines the place, and if that’s the case with Primo, we won’t be coming back because we were definitely let down. I got both kinds of potatoes (mashed and roasted red) with my supposed signature dish. Both were bland. The mashed were dry, could’ve benefited from some butter. The red potatoes were just plain boring, any kind of seasoning might have made it worth the wait.
TLDR: Great service in my opinion, but not good enough food to warrant a return for the prices on the menu.

Idk why I continue to try this place. Maybe it’s the “good” reviews or the fact that it’s close to home. Either way it’s just not great. It took forever to get a server to take our drink order, and way too long to actually get our drinks. While the server laughed it up at the bar with the regulars. Seems the same thing happend the last time. I’m all for chatting with the regulars but the average customer likes a server to be attentive as well. Drinks finally came. They were a 5 out of 10. Not really exciting. The food took quite some time to come out but, it’s like that some times, no biggie. A runner brought the food and by the time we flagged our waitress down to ask for condiments, my fries were cold. She never came on her own to check if we needed anything or to refill water or see if we wanted more cocktails. We had to flag her down. We were the ONLY TABLE (aside from bar customers) for most of the time we were there. Two hours for lunch… TWO! We waited for the bill and waited some more. Finally 3 out of 4 of us walked outside and that’s what got her attention to actually bring the check.

Went with another couple and had a wonderful meal. The menu choices were incredible, and you can customize your pasta with the sauce , protein etc as you want. The waitress , Danielle, was excellent and offered many suggestions. We enjoyed every mouthful and can highly recommend this restaurant!
