DO NOT VISIT IF USING TAP OR CARD. THEY DON’T DISCLOSE SURCHARGE ON BOTH CREDIT AND WHAT’S EVEN CRAZIER (DEBIT). I used to love this place. I went here a lot growing up. In the past month, I went 4 times. Each time I went, I used tap. All 4 times I noticed that I was being charged more than what the price on the cash register showed. (around 50 cents more). Obviously it’s not much, but 3/4 times I used a debit card and was still charged extra for using it. The difference is that when I used debit, they didn’t give me a receipt to prove I had a surcharge. Today I tried with my credit card, they added the surcharge, and gave me the receipt. Seems transparent, right ? Except they have no signs at the door or at the cash register explicitly stating they add a surcharge. I asked both times in the nicest way I could why they charge without disclosing the surcharge for both types of card at the front. Both times I was given attitude to, dismissed. I’m not trying to be rude to them. I just wanted them to see the mistake, and at least put up a sign. The guy today told me someone took it out. 2 weeks ago, the lady said “if the sign is not there, then i don’t know what happened” with attitude. I said that’s fine. Not trying to escalate, and not wanting anything to happen to my food lol. I’m sure now they don’t like me as a customer, but if you can’t make it right, you’re a shady business and it’s pretty messed up. Again, roughly 50 cents surcharge doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is that they could have at least refunded me the money for not legally disclosing their surcharge (as you can see in the pictures), and that I received attitude only for asking about it. How are you going to tell me “that’ll be $17.19” and then add extra on the square and make it $17.71 without letting me know? Then when I bring it up, you tell me every restaurant I go to does it and they have a sign up (which they don’t), so the response is “someone must’ve took it off”. All 4 times in one month that I went, no sign has been up. Brought that issue up 2 months ago, given attitude and sign still not put up. No one trying to make it right for not disclosing the charge. They shouldn’t be adding surcharge to a debit card, and if they’re going to charge you extra, there needs to be a sign that discloses that to the customer before paying. Won’t be going back again.

I ordered a munchie box, the burger bun was soggy wet, the fries were dry and crunchy like they took old fries and refried them, the chicken strips were hard and dry also. I ate it because I paid for it but I’ll never go back.

So many items on the menu! Great selection, made to order, Primo & Ortega Burgers are great. Pastrami pretty solid too. Order of onion rings is huge! Could use a better drink selection to pair with all the types of food offered.

Waited a long time to order because it was crowded so that’s understandable. I ordered a breakfast burrito and the hash browns were literally burnt and hard. Not even edible. As a chef you should never serve burnt food to a customer. I would’ve rather waited longer for it to be prepared properly. I’ve gotten food here plenty of times and enjoyed the food. Maybe this was a bad day.

This place has the best breakfast burritos in town but the they repeatedly make billing mistakes. About a month ago I called in an order and they forgot to put 3 fries that were paid for. Rather than drive all the way back I called it in and they said they would refund my card in 3-5 days. Two weeks later it still had not been refunded and they said I should contact my bank and refused to take responsibility for the refund. Today they charged me $63.90 for four breakfast burritos. I had called it in and ran in to get the food and when I got to the car I thought did they really just charge me almost $64 for 4 burritos? Yes. Yes they did. I guess the girl had too much time on her hands when o called the order on and decided to add two meals that I never ordered…. The restaurant was pretty empty when I got there so it’s not like she was being rushed… she just randomly added to extra meals to a very simple order repeated to her several times.
When I go back in to address the random charges in my bill, the girls were like oh sorry about that we can just put it back on your card. No thank you I said. I’ve heard that line of baloney from this establishment too many times. I requested cash and they said they could not give me cash if I paid with card. We went back and forth on that one for a bit and I just thought fine, I’ll probably never see my money they owe me, but I’m going to let everyone I can, know about the incompetence and terrible customer service here. If I don’t receive this refund within 10 days I’ll report them to the better business bureau. I don’t get it. I’m a regular repeat customer and yet so many times they mess up in my bill and they never compensate you anything extra to say sorry, and they never even get better. It’s not just one employee either, it’s all those girls that work the register. You would think working the cash register was like asking them to do calculus on paper.
FYI -Only the gal with the long blonde hair knows what she is doing. She never makes mistakes and sadly only works in the mornings. Good luck my friend. If you eat here pay cash, check your order before you leave and double check it again and then check your receipt. I promise you there is 90% chance something is missing or you have been charged for something you never ordered.

I love primo Burger. good food !most of the time pleasant people working there and best of all when you’re in a rush you could call in your order and they take EBT. Good choice fast food
