A very modern and chic vibe. Menu boasts a lot of great steakhouse classics like the glazed bacon (with a side of kimchi) and great salad selections. However, it’s a shame the food here was very hit and miss. Also, it took quite a long time in between the appetizers and entrees, about 50 minutes. My party of 7 got really antsy waiting. Staff didn’t bring us more bread or refill our drinks as we waited. (Note: it was a busy Saturday night). Our waiter was really nice when we spoke with him but didn’t see him much except when dishes were placed. The real issue was the food temperatures. Our Wagyu appetizer was partially seared and not seared. Inconsistent cook. Our Filet mignon was overcooked (we ordered it medium). It was super chewy and dry! Disappointing. And the King prime rib was semi undercooked (we ordered two at medium rare). Cooking was very uneven. Half medium rare and one section rare and almost raw. Brought it home to re-cook the next day. Not recommending this spot as a steakhouse. Much better options elsewhere.

Went for the first time and had an amazing meal. The atmosphere was marvelous the service was superb and the food was out of this world every dish was cooked to perfection. The sushi was incredible.GM Steven was amazing very polite and friendly made us feel very welcomed. Kept making sure we were all enjoying our meal. Amazing experience. Thank you!

Excellent experience. Atmosphere was so nice. Service was excellent. Beautiful decor with an upscale atmosphere of comfort and warmth. Nice lighting. Food was delicious. We had delicious drinks and tasty appetizers. Tuna and prime rib were 10/10. Desserts were delightful. Highly recommended.

I ordered two steaks, one medium rare and one medium well. But I didn’t get what I wanted. They even cut my steaks open. The surface was all burnt. I even tasted the burnt flavor. I asked someone who seemed like a manager. He didn’t help me solve the problem. He asked me to cut the steaks open to check the inside. He told me this was a normal situation. I’m a steak lover and I’ve eaten many steaks. This is the worst steakhouse I’ve ever been to in New York. They charged me for this, and I should have received what I paid for. But that wasn’t the case. I still paid the bill. I can only tell you that this is the worst steakhouse I’ve encountered in New York. I spent 300 yuan and ended up with a very bad dinner. Yes. During my questioning, that person who resembled a manager even rudely asked me, “Do you want to keep this steak or return it?” “This steak has been taken away by the waiter for 5 to 10 minutes, and then they brought it back to me.” I thought the way the manager handled this situation was really very bad, very bad. Maybe he thought I was an Asian person.

We couldn’t have had a better experience at Primehouse. Good quality steak that was cooked to perfection, fresh sushi, and extremely attentive staff. Would definitely dine here again!

Great atmosphere! I really liked the sushi rolls (though I wish there were less tempora fried offerings). The crab cakes were GREAT. (Seriously, the highlight of the meal) The cheesecake was just ok.
The 40oz rib eye felt a bit gimmicky. It has a good sear and good seasoning but it came out well under medium rare. Lots of unrendered fat (TBF I didn’t send it back, didn’t want to be that guy)
All in all it was a good experience, but for the money I would probably not choose Primehouse again.

The food was exceptional, and the service was flawless. We ordered several sushi rolls, and each one was incredibly fresh and delicious. Don’t miss out on trying the Beignets donut dessert—it’s an absolute must!
