The music was just a little loud for me but my hubby and I had a wonderful night. The food was really good. The burger was one of the best ones I’ve had in a long time. The drinks had the perfect ratio of juice to alcohol. Very tasty. Don’t sleep on this place.

The food was good. I had a salmon salad, the salmon didn’t have a lot of flavor but the dressing was really good, presentation was very nice and unique. Portion sizes are really good. My son had a burger with truffle fries, the burger was good but the fries were way too salty. Prices were fair with the exception of the sides, I’ve never seen sides so expensive (not sure why, didn’t order any to see the portion or quality) but maybe the portion should be smaller in order for the prices of the sides to be reasonable. Nice vibes, good music. I wouldn’t go back but only because I rarely go to a restaurant twice, unless the food is very unique and/ or delicious.

Saturday Night. Come at 10p for a steak dinner. Dance the calories off with a damn good DJ set. Wagyu Flat Iron was amazing. Sides Amazing. Also, I gotta give a shout out to the fact that for a high end steak house, the food is reasonably priced. The sides are served family style. That Rib eye is for 2. They make mocktails that slap for people that don’t drink too and they aren’t your usual oversweet BS. BTW, they don’t put salt and pepper shakers on your table for a reason, you don’t need them. Food is seasoned perfectly. The chef came out and shook my hand. This place is amazing. They do birthdays, anniversaries, etc the right way too. I will be back!!!!!

I was hoping this would have been a good time and experience but was displeased by the lack of professionalism. Let’s start with the good; The bartenders were great and we enjoyed our drinks; the appetizers were good.

Unfortunately , we were seated at the bar since we didn’t have a reservation which was fine. The Big turn off came when the hostess while in the middle of eating asked us to move over a chair to sit other guests which was very unpleasant and rude. I mean, there were other sits available behind us and the place wasn’t crowded instead of cramping us up.

We also were charged a gratuity fee for 2 at the bar which is normally reserved for large parties at a table.

Such a great atmosphere, great staff and good food. Being greeted by the owner means a lot. 100% recommend to anyone who wants to do a group brunch, lunch or dinner.

My mother and I have been longtime supporters of Prime 39 and their sister location Prime on the Mile, so when I say we are very familiar with how both establishments started and what they were, please know this review comes from a place of genuine disappointment.
In the span of less than a week, I visited Prime 39 twice and spent over $400 for two people. Here’s what happened:
Visit 1 – Friday, February 27th:
I ordered my usual favorite, the crab claws, and was immediately let down. The portion has noticeably shrunk while the prices have stayed the same (if not gone up). I also noticed no bread came with the dish, which has always been included in the past. When I asked our server, she responded with an attitude saying “do you want bread?” and when the bill came, I was charged $4 for four small slices. Small thing, but it set the tone.
Visit 2 – Thursday, March 5th, The Bigger Mistake:
We were not greeted by a single person upon arrival. We made our way to the bar, waited 10 minutes with no acknowledgment, and had to ask for menus ourselves. The bartender, Juan, was clearly doing his best but he was single-handedly managing drinks for the entire restaurant, which is a management failure, not his.
After 25 minutes, we ordered. I ordered the mussels and lamb chops (both appetizers), and my mother ordered the lamb chop entrée. Our bartender confirmed everything would come out together. We waited an hour and a half for our food while a table seated after us received their meals first.
I called the manager over (a woman with a buzz cut). No greeting. No apology. When I calmly asked what was taking so long, she made us feel like we were the inconvenience, walked away to check, and came back 15 minutes later with only my mussels, still no apology, while my mother’s entrée and my lamb chops were nowhere in sight. I asked to have the mussels taken back and brought out with everything else. When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t bad but it was absolutely not worth the wait or the experience getting there.
What really sealed it was that the manager comped drinks for two other women nearby who were also inconvenienced but offered us nothing. Not a comp. Not an apology. Not even a word. As we left, my mother and I both said goodbye and thank you to the manager and a server standing at the door. Complete silence. Not a single response.
Here’s what gets me: Prime 39 automatically adds a 20% gratuity to EVERY bill. If you’re going to mandate a 20% gratuity, the service needs to match it. It didn’t come close.
The portions are shrinking. The prices aren’t. The service from management on down was dismissive, rude, and frankly embarrassing for an establishment of this price point. There are better restaurants on the Island that will actually make you feel welcomed and valued. Please think twice before spending your hard-earned money here.

I would like to start off by saying this is one of my favorite spots and I’ve never been disappointed. This time around I had the Viking’s Creed for happy hour and the drink did its thing. Either that or the bartender but nonetheless, somebody did their thing. I cleared out my plate and so did my kids and wife. Didn’t get a chance to take photos of the additional food.

I just want to say this place is EVERYTHING!!! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. The manager who is a woman named Kalisha was so professional , polite, and intentional about how she manages this restaurant. I couldn’t not make a review of this restaurant. I went for my birthday and it exceeded my expectations. Our server Jonathan was also so attentive and patient with everything I inquired about. It was a great time and I will definitely be coming back.

It was a great atmosphere with great music. I had Lamb chops, pork chop and my wife had Cajun shrimp pasta. Our waitress Dora was very attentive and catered to all our requests. The manager Daniel was also very nice and attentive and such a great person to talk to. I’ll rate it a 5/5 the price for a meal for two isn’t bad.

We went there on Val’s day due to past experience with their regular menu. Little did we know, we’d be restricted to only a V-day special menu ($79 minimum per person) which we were not told about when the reservation was being made (there was a $20 hold per person to make a reservation so that would have been a good time for them to be transparent). The issue is the options on the menu were not so great, and there was limited room for substitutions (e.g swapping the creamy spinach for a healthier one like “steamed”). It’s their restaurant so they can do what they want, but they should also be transparent as early as possible so people can also make decisions that’s best for them. I’ve uploaded pic of the menu here as FYI- know before you go. (Food was fine enough, the music was great)
