A mostly average meal. We were happily greeted by a tired but friendly bartender. Jessica took over and took our order. She seemed very busy but mostly attentive. The menu was simple which normally is a huge plus. There was a 8, 12, 16, 24, 32 oz sizes of prime rib along with a black and blue salad or 7 or 14oz steak tips. The steaks were served with wedge salad and baked potato. My lady ordered 14 oz steak tips cooked medium. I had the 24 oz prime medium rare. Both came out as ordered. We did wait for a refills on water several times. The good and bad. The service was ok but not overly friendly. The steaks were cooked as requested. The horseradish was good but not great. The baked tater lacked anything special (not even a salted skin). The inside of the restaurant was dimly lit with a couple of drunks swearing at the bar. The most memorable item was the cheesecake. Please if you eat here order the cheesecake. Everything else was just average and a good but definitely not best prime rib. It needed to be dunked in au jus for the best flavor. The steak tips were definitely chewy for a steakhouse. PS. Order the cheesecake!!

We were visiting Huran for the weekend after travelling from L.A.
Prime Time Tavern was highly recommended, I can see why. The place is busy and first come, first serve so make sure you get there early on a Friday.
We bruschini (their version of bruschetta) and I ordered the Sirloin Steak Tips with cheese.
The dinners come with bread, their signature wedge salads, French bread and dip.
Everything tasted great and arrived quickly after we were seated. After our first bites it was obvious why this place is so popular.
We definitely recommend Prjme Time Tavern to anyone exploring the Mitchell/Huron area in South Dakota.

Great food for a great price. We go every Wednesday. All their burgers are absolutely huge with great pairings, and steaks are high quality without that premium price. A good size margarita is only $4 and the bigger one is $6 I think, and the service/waitresses have been fantastic week after week.

I’m in town for a convention and we had a large group together. The staff was very accommodating and our server did a great job making sure everyone got what they needed. The filet mignon was excellent and very tender. The prices are extremely reasonable and affordable. Wonderful atmosphere. I would come here again when in town.

If you’re passing Huron in South Dacota do try food from this place. Menu is really small but don’t let that disappoint you food is really great and waitress will give you a lot of choices.File minion was so tasteful and cheesecake perfect.Service is nice,polite and friendly. Was greeted with smiles. Waitress Lilly was prompt and great with recommendations. You have to try their ranch dressing on your baked potato, her suggestion. She has ruined me, cause it was awesome.
Great frozen Raspberry Sm and Mango Lrg Margaritas filled to the rim. We had the 6 oz filet, cooked to perfection.

First time here. Atmosphere was great. It gave me that intimate super club feel. Burger was huge, and salad had the perfect amount of dressing: a lot!!! Pricing was VERY reasonable. Best part was the attitude of not only the bartender, but all the servers! Jessica was extremely nice to all incoming guests and all the servers were very positive, even though they kept coming in close to closing time.
Class act establishment, and the ownership should be proud of their staff.

I don’t understand what the hype is about. The parking lot is always busy Friday and Saturday evenings. The only thing on the menu I enjoy are the steak tips. The so called salad…smh
