In my 40 years these are the best hot dogs I have had. He comes up with new variations all the time and they are great. I was in the area for jury duty the first time I had these, so I am thinking of getting into legal trouble so I can be at the courthouse more often to get these hot dogs!

Ok, so all the other reviews are accurate. This place is no joke on all levels. My wife and I stopped by for the first time, and not only were we not disappointed, we were much, much more than pleasantly surprised. We moved here permanently last year from NY. I worked in NYC and North Jersey for a long time and have had many hot dogs. This place easily rivals some of the best NYC/NJ has to offer, and they crush all the others that aren’t tops among NY locals. So here is the thing…they know all the secrets of the best NY places and more. They are the most pleasant folk ever. The reviews are true. Just a sweet couple that are masters of what they do and personalities that equal their food. Pecan pie is the die for…just get it while you’re there….trust me. Prime Time will gladly be in our rotation for years to come. Go downtown, get a dog and piece of pie and I’ll just say now….you’re welcome.

They accidentally dropped my item and it happened to be the last one they had, however they made me an absolutely amazing substitution and their customer service was AMAZING. I will be coming back! I grew up in Brooklyn and worked near the original Nathan’s on the boardwalk of Coney Island where I would go for lunch – a hot dog with mustard and saurkraut. Today I had my first hot dog with those fixins here in Knoxville at Prime Time. I took my first bite and stopped, breathless. The soft perfect bun with saurekraut-mustard juice wetness enveloping a huge juicy bite of sensational tasting burst of hot dog with the skin you really had to bite through to get to it – together a symphony of memories! And of taste and delicious NY hot dog perfection. Chris you made a miracle taste sensation!
