absolutely fantastic!!! We frequent some steakhouses near downtown GR and this place is well worth venturing out for. The service was exceptional with very friendly knowledgeable staff. Our server Marty was very accommodating with my food allergies. The prices are extremely fair, and the food is amazing! We got the slab bacon and pork lollipops as appetizers which were great. Then we got salads that were equally as good, and finally our steaks were cooked perfectly. We also got the king crab which comes with a whopping two pounds of crab! We will definitely be back!

Food was excellent, reasonable prices for the quality of the meat (some semi-local and other smaller ranches in southern US). Many of the cuts of steak come with two sides, a choice of potato and vegetable. Bruschetta was a standout for the appetizers. Side salads are reasonably priced and dressing on wedge salad was fantastic. We ordered cocktails, which were not great, specifically the French 75 I ordered, which was listed on the menu, tasted like straight Tanqueray gin; maybe opt for something more botanical and be sure to use ample fresh lemon juice and prosecco. Service was pleasant, but it’s apparent they are still ironing out the flow with it being a newly opened establishment.

My wife and I had a reservation pretty early, right when they open, so we were the only ones in there for a bit. Wish I could remember our severs name, he was great. We split the tomahawk steak and I thought it was delicious, they come and cut it at your table for you. One of the sides we ordered was going to take too long so we switched to a different side. The White cheddar Mac and cheese tasted very salty, but other than that everything was great. Drinks were enjoyable as well.

Amazing staff. Super inviting and welcoming. Felt at home with an amazing atmosphere and ambiance. Tomahawk comes out with a presentation of the chef slicing it for you. DelMonico was so tasty…. with the fat having one of the best ever. Asparagus was beautifully seasoned with finely sliced parmesian cheese. Just felt so welcomed and at ease in the “old fashioned” vibe. Quality! Amazing staff.

My wife and were looking for a nice place to go for our 27th Wedding anniversary. We didn’t want to go downtown to one of the “norms” that people would go to for a special event. As we were searching we came across Prime. It was close to us and we like what we saw on the menu and decided to give it a shot. I called and made reservations Thursday evening for Friday at 7pm for two. We really didn’t know what to expect, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was quaint and very charming. We were seated quickly and our waitress took our order for drinks. We settled on a bottle of wine and proceeded to make our choice for dinner. My wife had the 6 oz filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus, I chose the Alaskan King Crab legs. Both were fantastic. During our dinner Scott (the owner) stopped by our table and asked how everything was. Of course we told him everything was great and this place is a hidden gem. We explained to him it was our anniversary and he provided us with a complimentary anniversary gift. We were blown away. It was a wonderful experience.
All in all, if you’re looking for a nice place to have a fantastic dinner, with a great atmosphere and wonderful staff don’t hesitate to stop in or make reservations. Thank you to Scott, and the whole staff at Prime for a wonderful evening.

Thank you to Kristine, the hostess with the mostess, who waited on Thomas and I for dinner tonight. We didn’t have reservations, but we needed a date night and I’d seen an article about this fabulous place around the corner from our house. And the food is amazing. And now I’m bonding with Kristine over mutual friends. She has excellent taste in cocktails. Try the cucumber mule.
Also, for the record, the shrimp cocktail is actually amazing and not just a basic appetizer. The bruschetta was delicious, not too tough or too chewy. Tom had the 20oz Delmonico Ribeye and was licking his fingers. I tasted his Brussels sprouts and they were fabulous. He cleaned the bowl from his potatoes before I could ask. I had the Flat Iron Wagyu and it was crispy on the outside and melting on the inside. The grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes were perfect. And my plate got jostled on the way to the table, so the chef* took it back to be re-plated so it would be perfect.
Finally, we had tiramisu for dessert and it was wonderful.
This is worth changing my flight and coming back early so I can celebrate my birthday here. And I like to sleep. Special thanks to John (who stopped by often) and to Scott Ingersoll (owner and aforementioned chef, which I didn’t realize until I asked for his name) who was cooking and serving personally. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary, and wow, they did not disappoint! The ribeye was delicious, Brussel sprouts were AMAZING, the cheesy potatoes were so good! Decent prices for the portions you get, the atmosphere and service! We also got two yummy chocolates when we left too We cannot wait to come back!!

Tried this quaint little gem for dinner, it is very unique, nicely decorated, classy, and elegant enough for any occasion. The food was delicious, and service was great! My husband and I both had the filet, with mashed potatoes and asparagus, with a side house salad. Will definitely go back!

Two for dinner at 6 pm on a Thursday (with a reservation); busy but not crowded. Water, bread and (real) butter arrived immediately, followed by timely delivery of the drink order. Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. We each had the 6oz petite filet. I tried to explain my order “med rare, not too cooked more toward rare…” The server read my mind and the steak was perfect! Warmed plate also contained asparagus (still hot) and mashed potatoes. We shared cheesecake with caramel drizzle to end the meal. The portion sizes were just right for us. When we left after 7 the place was near capacity, still just a lively hum (not noisy). Excellent service; fresh flowers on the table; attire tended toward nice casual. Would recommend a reservation. We will return with enthusiasm and a good appetite to try some of the appetizers!

Me and my girlfriend came here for her 21st birthday and had an amazing time. I forget the servers name unfortunately, but she was extremely nice and helpful, all of the staff was. We split the tomahawk steak which was very reasonably priced, and it was SOOOO good, I would have felt like I got my moneys worth if it was double the price.
Amazing staff, great food, and really good prices. I will be back.
