Every single time I come to Prime Shoppe in Quincy Market, I always get served well and I’m never let down.

The quality of the meats, buns and fries are top notch. Staff put real plate samples out from their menu so customers can see what to order from real close. Unfortunately, prices have increased a little bit over the years and they might be at the pricier side. Staff is nice and kind. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the restaurant is not questionable at all.

If you are near Quincy Market and you are looking for a quality filling lunch/dinner, definitely stop by.

Walking through Quincy Market, I knew I wanted a roast beef sandwich. Prime Shoppe called to me. I ordered the Large Prime Roast Beef Sandwich and a Fruit Punch Bubbler. The sandwich was filling and delicious. I’d absolutely order it again and would recommend. The drink was sweet and addicting. I’d also highly recommend.

The service is was really earns the top marks for me. The guys working here were like my instant friends. I was ready to throw on an apron and start working with ’em. They were all friendly and helpful. Making the sandwiches was a labor of love, and I enjoyed my sandwich more because of it.

It can be chaotic to order, especially with everything going on in Quincy Market, but they kept track of me and my order, reducing the stress. I’d highly recommend picking Prime Shoppe as your stop of choice among the competition. I’ll be back.

the food was very good, but a bit overpriced considering you’re not even guaranteed a place to sit. also, the portion sizes seemed smaller than what was advertised.

that said, the philly cheesesteak was incredibly tender, and the meat was great quality. the fries were much better than fast food ones, crispy and flavorful. they were also very generous with the ketchup and mustard, which i appreciated.

as for the root beer, i wasn’t a fan at first, but it’s starting to grow on me.

So good! The cheesesteak was packed with flavor and loaded with meat and melted cheese. Super satisfying and definitely worth it. The fries were crispy and the portion was generous.

Great spot if you’re visiting the market and craving something classic and filling!

I’ve been coming here for a long time, but I haven’t been in years. The grilled chicken was excellent. Very flavourful. The bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Just right.

What a cheesesteak!! Tasty, filling and fairly priced.

This spot is surrounded by tons of other restaurants, so be prepared for a crowd and a bit of wait-time. Luckily, we didn’t wait more than ten minutes even though it was busy.

The food is made fresh… you can literally watch your order being cooked right in front of you. I got a cheesesteak with yellow cheese, fries on the side, and ranch + ketchup for dipping. They forgot to add the peppers and onions at first, but when I came back a few minutes later, they were super kind and gave me a lot of them on the side. No problem at all.

The sandwich wasn’t jaw-dropping, but it was tasty, filling, and fairly priced… especially for this location where options can get pricey.

Overall, it’s a solid 8/10 — not the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had, but absolutely worth stopping for if you’re exploring the market and have this craving.

Surprisingly bad stall. I bought the most expensive one $35.95, getting a much smaller rib than shown on the desk. This can be normal for many insincere guys. The even worse problem is that they only give me the less expensive portion, ie without sides and with no drink, and then charged me another 3 dollars for a soda. I tried to clarify with them but they just show impatience and finally my wife suggested that we leave to forget about it. Also their soda doesn’t come with ice, very poor and dishonest seller!

I’m a huge fan of cheesesteaks. It was not my favorite cheesesteak, but it was pretty good. The one thing that makes a better cheesesteak for me is onions and mushrooms and hot peppers. This cheesesteak was just bread, meat, and cheese. I asked for American cheese and the melted cheddar cheese and it was definitely nice and cheesy. I would come back here to try more.

Charged us extra for cheese despite getting the advertised Steak & Cheese Sub Combo. Also, sub looked nothing like the example on display.

Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Prime Rib came in a very generous portion. The beef was a tad tough to chew but was overall flavorful.
Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The value for money was outstanding. For the quantity and overall quality of the beef, the price was more than fair.
‍ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Service was top-notch. The staff was not only efficient but also extremely friendly, making the dining experience even more delightful.
Dining Tip:
For those wanting an extra touch of decadence, consider adding a layer of cheese. It truly enhances the flavor and makes every bite even more delicious.
