Prime Pizza just opened a brand new location in Brea, California, and the first thing you should know is that Google Maps hasn’t caught up yet. If you search for it right now, it may still show an empty lot with no buildings or parking, but the store is absolutely open and operating.
They officially opened last week (Monday the 1st, I believe), and they’re already busy.
We stopped in on Super Bowl Sunday, so they were completely overwhelmed with what looked like hundreds of orders for the game. Because of that, we didn’t order a full pizza made fresh.
Instead, we went with slices, and that ended up being a great choice.
They have a nice, straightforward counter setup where you can walk in and pick from a solid variety of slices. We tried the Sicilian, the white slice, and the spicy pepperoni. Every single one was delicious. The crust was excellent, the ingredients tasted high quality, and you can tell they’re using good artisan flour. Everything just tasted fresh and well made.
On top of that, the staff was super helpful, polite, and friendly, even with how slammed they were.
If you’re in the Brea area and want a great slice, Prime Pizza is already worth the stop. Just don’t panic if Google Maps tries to convince you it doesn’t exist yet.

One of our favorite pizzas in the area so far! We came during lunch and ordered slices. Our favorites in order are vodka, Sicilian, Hawaiian, white, grandma! The flavors are really good, we’re excited to try more.
The wait wasn’t too long, approximately less than 10min. I would recommend ordering online ahead of time. There were a lot of people ordering and picking up so definitely seems to get busy.
There are no dine in options, so we took it out for takeout. But there are tables out front!

Always visited the Fairfax and Little Tokyo Prime pizza when I was in the LA neighborhood. I was ecstatic hearing they opened one in Brea and told all my family and friends about it.
We visited for dinner tonight and I can positively say how happy I am that the pizza crossed over to Orange County perfectly, the flavors were just as I remembered and everyone working there was so welcoming!
The only thing I’d mention is the limited dine-in seating. There are 2 tables available for the restaurant and scattered throughout the parking lot are benches and picnic tables.
If it’s your first time might I suggest my go to’s the Sicilian pizza Grandma style and classic pepperoni pizza

I recently visited Prime Pizza in their new location in Brea, and wow—what a standout experience! The pizza itself was delicious the first time around and I had to go back to make sure it was not just me being hungry. The pizza was hot, fresh, perfectly crispy crust, generous toppings, and that classic cheesy pull we all love. But honestly, the real MVP here was the incredible customer service. The combination of tasty pizza and top-tier hospitality makes me want to come back again and again. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a pizza spot that cares about its customers.

Honestly, I like this pizza. It seems different than most pizza places in the immediate area. A reliable slice is what I would call it. Not the best ever, but not the worst either. Pretty good! I think the crust is delicious and one of the best parts. I have only tried cheese and pepperoni flavors so far but the pepperoni was my favorite. Very nice staff as well. Will be coming here again!

This place is amazing. I use to drive to LA to pick it up. This location just opened, and each time I go in their process is just a little tighter. First day it was at 90% and it’s gotten better. Zero complaints. Their wings, salad, pizza and ordering app are great.

I have patiently been waiting for this location to open and boy was it worth the wait. The pizza is beyond delicious and the customer service may be even better. What a great group of individuals working together to bring this establishment to life. I’m definitely hooked and will be back… Thank you for bringing NY to California.

Anybody who lives in So Cal, has eaten a truckload of pizza and we are always looking for the next, great pie. This pizza is next to NY perfect! Great crust and sauce. Can’t think of anything that even comes close to what I just ate. I had a pepperoni pie and a slice of thick crust cheese…..Both excellent and some homemade ranch dressing, very good.
For sure this is my go to place for a slice or a meal…..
Great Job!

Much better tasting pizza than what you would think. Neapolitan style crust combined with higher quality ingredients make for a very tasty pie. The spicy pepperoni square pan pie was fire!

It was a decent pie. Still new, so over hour wait for take out. Was light on cheese, good sauce. Had pepperoni & jalapeno. Garlic knots needed more spread. Crust was thin & crispy. Tony’s & Craftsman will remain our go to places in our area.
