These Pasties are the best available in today’s market,hands down simply because of the way they are put together, multiple award winning from the U.P. potatoe growers association several years in a row, even have been shipped overseas and rival colonel K’s pasties in Menominee due to the unique flavor and scalloped potatoes inside,top notch beef and handmade in batches.
Guaranteed you won’t find a more well made nor tastier Pasty. Rick deserves acknowledging for 30 years of dedicated service! I only wish that his shop was located on U.S.2 or u.s. 41 because then he could make more people happier to try a REAL Pasty made better than the other one’s in the area and show the true intention of a Cornwall England meat pie made for the miners by their own family. Hearty,wholesome healthy workman’s food is truly hard to find today,find quality,value and goodness in this product by trying one soon!

Award-winning pasties. These are not made in a factory like Pasty Oven, or freezer burnt microwaved pasties like Dobbers. These pasties are made fresh every day with the best quality ingredients. ALWAYS cooked to perfection. Don’t be discouraged if you’re vegetarian, try the veggie pasty. It’s not vegan because cheese is included, but absolutely no meat so it’s vegetarian. No lard is used. This has been a family-owned business for over 50 years.
*Note: call ahead to place order. Pasties take a lot of time to make, so it’s not as simple as ordering a sandwich.*

Soooo good! He only had 2 flavors that were currently ready to eat. But it is a full pound and such flaky and yummy breading.
My wife and I went there first and she didn’t want the flavor he had, so we went to another place. Theirs was more expensive, less pasty and wasn’t quite as good. The Prime Pasty King had more filling and taste for less of the price. I would recommend P.P.K. They are award winning for a reason.

Amazing food and experience here. Best pasties in the UP. I find them value priced, very generous portions, and the customer service is excellent. Always our go to place when we have a taste for a pasty. Keep up the good work!

I popped by with my girlfriend yesterday afternoon, and the beef pasties were delicious! Since dine-in was closed and we were on a road trip, we ate in the car, but the pasties held together without a mess! The owner (I assume) mentioned he’d been making pasties here for over 30 years! He was very friendly, and the price ($7) was very reasonable!

Highly recommended as the best pasties in the upper peninsula of Michigan hands down! It is a family ran business handed down to the generations have eaten pasties here for well over 20 years without a change in anything! Always a perfect meal. Friendly faces with great conversation as again this has been a family business for years, a family we have all known and loved for so many years very thankful and highly recommend.

The Prime Pasty King’s Pasty’s beat the pants off of any other Pasty’s in the UP! HANDS DOWN! They not only have Pasty’s but extremely delicious pork and porketta sandwiches I visit annually and they put great care into the food and customer service!

Not only do they have the best pasties in the UP, their customer service is outstanding. My family has been buying pasties from Prime Pasty King for over 30 years and today my husband and I stopped by to pick up some to take back home to WI. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. I just can’t stress enough how great our experience was. Also, you don’t have to be in Kingsford, MI to buy their pasties. They’ll ship anywhere in the US!
