Every time we are in town, we order pasties from here. They are tasty, moist, and I think what I like the most is that the meat and potatoes inside are cut smaller and the flavor is so consistent throughout.

I popped by with my girlfriend yesterday afternoon, and the beef pasties were delicious! Since dine-in was closed and we were on a road trip, we ate in the car, but the pasties held together without a mess! The owner (I assume) mentioned he’d been making pasties here for over 30 years! He was very friendly, and the price ($7) was very reasonable!

This is my first time trying prime pasty king’s pasty. I give it 5 stars by far in comparison to other places. It was really stuffed with a light pastry crust and moist. Not to mention, not only fresh, but hot. I will definitely make this my stop for pasty’s when visiting the U.P. 🙂

It is a family ran business handed down to the generations have eaten pasties here for well over 20 years without a change in anything! Always a perfect meal. Not only do they have the best pasties in the UP, their customer service is outstanding. My family has been buying pasties from Prime Pasty King for over 30 years and today my husband and I stopped by to pick up some to take back home to WI. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. I just can’t stress enough how great our experience was. Also, you don’t have to be in Kingsford, MI to buy their pasties. They’ll ship anywhere in the US!
