I took my daughter for a birthday weekend girls getaway trip and we came to this hotel which was amazing. I learned of this restaurant when I checked in. This place is located on the twelfth floor to your left right outside of the elevators. This place is pricey but worth every single penny!! Thank goodness I didn’t need a reservation. I ordered the steak and it was superb! It was cooked to perfection. My daughter loved her dinner too! Our drinks were sweet and made just as we requested. Their bathroom is clean but was a little confused that it was co-ed. No big deal. I’m definitely coming back here with my whole family.

Like some ratings said nothing was memorable. Very basic flavors. Mac and cheese with lobster was very flavorless. The drinks were yummy. Service was great. The vibes are awesome. Will come back to see the roof top and try drinks only.

Prime Met Rooftop Steakhouse at the Renaissance New York Flushing Hotel offering American fare and happy-hour drinks. It is a good vibe with DJ on certain evenings and is great for pics! The food is good but the views are even better! I do recommend going here at least once and “see” for yourself! Enjoy!

Speaking just about the food, I honestly didn’t find anything memorable. It was all pretty average. From the photos, what I remember is that the potatoes were cut too large, the macaroni felt a bit too heavy, and the steak was decent. But since it’s a steakhouse, I feel like that’s something they’re supposed to get right. One thing I really wasn’t a fan of was the drinks. Both cocktails I tried were poorly balanced and just didn’t taste good. The dessert was also too sweet for my liking.
However, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The decor is elegant and makes it a good spot for a date. The Chinese server was also really attentive. He noticed I didn’t like the drinks and offered a complimentary dessert. If you go around sunset, the view from the terrace is also beautiful and you can catch some great evening skies. But one thing I’m sure of is that I won’t be coming back here to enjoy that sunset again.

Very nice atmosphere both indoor and outdoor. Our waitress Winnie made us felt very welcoming and always had a smile on her face. She gave us good suggestions on the cocktails and we all loved it.

Love it here! The food, the service, the view ❤️ Second time here for date night, and it did not disappoint! The oysters are our favorite! They are so fresh We’ve sat both indoors and outdoors and you honestly can’t lose with either option! It actually became “our spot” now and are looking forward to returning!

This is really an upscale spot but tragically the service & food is subpar. The manager from Hyatt recommended the happy hour Monday- Friday at 3-5 pm.
The roof top views & ambiance are 7 stars but everything else is below average.
I enjoyed the $8 Cabernet but was disappointed by the $8 meatball (skimpy 3 pieces). The meatball & slider is on happy hour menu but no different in price from regular menu.
Happy hour? I have had better sliders for $5 in Manhattan. And the meatballs are not even worth $3. This is Flushing right?

Sunday 7 pm and the bar & restaurant is counting sheep’s . GHOST TOWN .

Only 30% off cocktails. No wine or beer.

The wine menu needs to be updated to reflect the price. The bartender had to call the GM for a price quote on a glass of Cabernet. Really? The red wine offerings are for tourists… ️ ️
Also, why have a bottle of empty Opus One on display if it’s not on the menu???
So far I’ve only tried the bar food. There is no incentive for me to actually dine here based on my many visits.
Hopefully this will change in 2025…
