The front part serves food dishes and the back of the store is a store. Mostly food and toiletries but some durable goods.
We ordered 3 dishes of Pad Thai, 1 spicy and 2 no spicy. An egg roll and 2 orders of wings(3). We added shrimp and pork belly to the Pad Thai. At $70 we thoughtit was expensive. It looked like there was also tofu in the dish.
The no spicy was still spicy. We called the store and the phone rang in some lady’s home. I think it must be her cell phone. The price shown does not include a protein & idk what the upcharge is to add it. It’s not displayed in the store.
Portions are more than I could eat in one sitting.
They will give you a sample if you don’t know what something tastes like.
It’s nice to have a place that serves hot food in the area.
Overall, we enjoyed the food.
Our only complaint was that we asked for mild and it was still too spicy for us both. Nonetheless, everything was still very delicious.
I would suggest to the owners that if they are getting good bussiness, (from which I’ve seen during my time there), I would use half of the building and make that as a restaurant. I will definitely go back!
We had amazing experience here as a first timer. We live over an hour away, but we will make our way back to this deli. It’s a must-try! I see some Google reviews mentioning wait time, but please be patient as they are a deli and not a restaurant. They opened less than a year ago and do not have the space to operate on a restaurant scale. Give them a try!
We ordered:
-Pad Thai (Mild) which still had a kick to it but was tolerable enough to eat. Their Pad Thai was amazing! The perfect balance of salty, sweet and tangy-phenomenal flavor and a must to try!
– Papaya salad (Mild)-this was surprisingly good too. It also had a good balance of salty and sour. Lots of umami-I’d definitely order this again and the mild spice was perfect.
-Pad Kra Pow: It had a unique flavor and was heavy on the sauce. We weren’t fans of this flavor-it had a heavy fishy flavor and would not order this again but if you’re up for trying something new I’d say give it a go to see for yourself!
Overall we would definitely go back for their wonderful customer service, Pad Thai and Papaya salad.
We’ll all I have to say is this is definitely a hidden gem. I try plenty of Pad Thai from many spot here in Minnesota and there’s been many disappointment. But this place is 1 of the few I really enjoy.
Service was great, when I stopped by there wasn’t anyone there so it was nice and quick, and was able to watch the guy work that wok.
Very saucy not dry.
Nice and flavorful.
The spice level is on I’d enjoyed every bite of it. If you can’t handle the heat you might want to say mild or no spice.
Next time I will stop by again to tryout other things they have on the menu.
