Server even made sure I was warm enough, as it was so cold outside. She did not rush us, told us to relax and take our time. Was attentive and fun!
French Onion soup was yummy and the burger was charred yet very rare, just as I ordered, not easy to come by.
Sweet potato fries were also good.
Will definitely go back!!
The staff is very accommodating and courteous.
I got there as they opened and was greeted by a guy who I think had some kind of ownership stake in the restaurant,.. (didn’t get his name)Nice guy, affable, chatty, etc
I asked him what were the burgers that people ordered the most…
After he pointed out the Bacon Burger was very popular …he then explained they used a proprietary blend of meat for the burgers; Chuck, Short Rib, and Rib Eye, and, additionally a dry age blend for burgers..
I ordered the Bacon Burger, with the proprietary blend of meat, medium rare, as usual. It had bacon, bacon jam, and American cheese.
It came out a perfect medium rare, which made me happy, as I’ve had a few misses with that temp lately…
The French Fries were perfectly crispy, as I ordered them. They also came with a garlic dipping sauce, which was very, very, good
The burger was good, but that’s it…To me, nothing to write home about.. It just didn’t excite my taste buds.. The blend they used is very mild in taste. I like it earthy, salty, and unctuous.. It was not bad, by any stretch of the imagination, just not my taste, to have it rank high in my Burger Hierarchy. I should go back and try one of their dry age burgers..
The bun was really good. It held up well against the juicy burger
They use those nuclear red maraschino cherries in their old fashioned, so I did not order it…ugghhh..
The place was reasonably busy at lunch time…
Plenty of parking, as it’s in a large strip mall on Jericho Tpk
They have an affiliation of some sort with the Babylon Burger bar
Update 3.12.22 – sitting at the bar really enjoying myself. The place has gotten better in time and the pricing seems to be more inline with how the world is today. Def a great local place to be at.
the food was hot which is always a plus
but the service was horrible ….it took over an hour to get our food.. the waitress was not very attentive.. the worst part was that we got a everything pretzel ( an appetizer) and not the Bavarian one that we ordered after we got served our meal and it was very hard.
I would go there again
but id either eat first or not go when im hungry…
The burgers were terrific and cooked to perfection , the staff were friendly and attentive. Very clean and up to date environment with classic photos throughout.
The desserts were incredible delicious works of art.
Interesting yet tasty pB&J wings as an appetizer.
