Excellent! Fantastic service! fantastic Ribeye full of flavor. Brussel sprouts were amazing. Caesar dressing was bland so ordered anchovies and it was perfect. Martini was great and wine was fantastic. Best of all, the service. SPOT ON. I’ve read some reviews that just pick away at this place. I think some people are just not used to fine dining. It was amazing. Great owners!!!

Seriously, this place lives up to its name—it’s truly ‘Beyond’ expectations. The quality of the cuts is phenomenal, perfectly cooked, and the atmosphere made for an incredibly enjoyable time.
I know I seem to hand out 5-star reviews often, but the truth is, I only bother reviewing places that are genuinely exceptional. This is one of those places.
If you are looking for a top-tier steakhouse experience in the area, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!

Believe the hype. My husband and I heard about Prime and Beyond from lots of different friends and acquaintances and finally decided to make a special visit. First impressions are unimpressive – it doesn’t look like much from the outside and it’s surprisingly small and cozy on the inside – but this seemingly humble spot serves up some delightful meats. Both dry- and wet-aged are available, the butcher-fresh cuts are available for purchase to take home.

One of the unique things about the menu here is that there’s a clear infusion of Korean dishes, like the kimchi stew. I thought the cost of some side dishes like kimchi seemed a little steep (especially since they’re typically free in traditional Korean restaurants), but it was intriguing to see such things served alongside steakhouse offerings. We opted for a kimchi carbonara to start, and that was truly intriguing. The pasta was studded with pieces of bacon and slick with a rich and cheesy sauce with a spicy fermented funk that could only be ascribed to a touch of gochujang. We’d never tried anything like it anywhere else and absolutel

If there were any notes about our meal, it’s that the fat cap on the edge of our steak was thicker than we typically prefer. But I’d argue that was on us since servers bring by each cut of steak for inspection before it heads to the grill. In this and countless other ways, service was seamless.

Other small and random notes:
– Reservations are only made over the phone.
This restaurant is BYOB! Had we but known, we would’ve come prepared. Don’t make the same mistake we did and bring your own bottle.
– Finding parking in this area can be a madhouse; thankfully, there’s a small parking lot out front.

A great little find service was outstanding. Food was great not the fanciest place but that’s fine. Pricing was reasonable definitely would go back. The meats are out of this world. Everyone that works there from the owner on down very conscientious very friendly a very positive atmosphere. We will be back.

Came here for a team lunch and tried the dry-aged New York strip. Honestly, nothing outstanding—just felt like a steak you could get anywhere. Most of my teammates ordered the signature box, which came with fried calamari, coconut shrimp, kimchi carbonara, bacon, rice, and meat. The portions were huge, but at $38 it felt a bit pricey. They also charged $3 per person for bringing in our own cake, which was unexpected. On the plus side, their appetizer chips with the mayo and grilled onion-style sauce were actually really good. Overall, decent but not sure I’d come back.

Hey Vic
It’s a very well-regarded steakhouse known for its high-quality, on-premises dry-aged and wet-aged USDA Prime beef and its unique blend of traditional steakhouse fare with Korean influences.

They also operate as a butcher shop. My beloved friend, told so many times how great it was “ the cut” he ate on his fall camping trip!

While it hasn’t been there for “decades,” it has been an institution in Fort Lee for a significant amount of time, having opened around 2003. That’s over 20 years, so it definitely qualifies as a long-standing, beloved “joint” in the community!

We had the 40oz ribeye for two. It was good, garlic was good too, the food total is good, but not $168 good. Most other steak places in NJ you can get a similar quality steak for half the price. Worth it maybe one time.

Meat lovers paradise. One of the best steakhouses I’ve ever had and definitely much better than the chain ones like Morton’s or Ruth Chris. Servers are really attentive and even though the meats are the centerpiece, the sides are pretty amazing too. Will definitely go back and try other cuts. Went with friends and 4 hungry men struggled to finish what we ordered so decent sized portions.

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here. Despite making a last-minute reservation, they were able to accommodate us. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and quickly seated. The ambiance was fantastic—we came in before the dinner rush, so it was quiet and intimate, with beautiful classical music playing in the background. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is BYOB, so we brought our own wine to pair with our meal. We shared the Kimchi Carbonara, Fried Calamari, and Dry-Aged NY Strip—each dish exceeded our expectations in both quality and flavor. Truly one of the best meals I’ve had. Thank you for a fantastic evening—I’ll definitely be returning for future special occasions!
