Must stop on my trips home and went with the Pittsburgher and some Buffalo Wings.
Pittsburgher has been the same forever, the wings have changed and were a bit bigger than I recall. My bread was stale and my sandwich fell apart. The Authentic Buffalo sauce was a close authentic Buffalo. They miss the mark on the butter ratio and, the lack of vinegar hurts the flavor as well. Mine tasted of butter and not much hot sauce. It’s probably made that way for the majority of guests who prefer a milder wing sauce, like 8 year olds.
Staff is great, location is great.
I had a fantastic experience here, and a big part of that was thanks to my server, Brian. He was kind, attentive, and respectful—and he even carded me, which honestly made my day. (It’s the little things!) The food was great—from the massive, flavorful burger and fresh fries to the sweet dessert trio that ended the night perfectly.
Also… bonus points for the drink with the rubber duck. Yes, I got to keep him. And yes, he has lore now.
Would absolutely recommend this place, especially with staff like Brian around. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and little moments that actually make you smile.
Pretty far off the turnpike… Not sure why Google picked this place.
Stopped in on a Sunday morning. Pretty much right when they opened. Quickly greeted and seated. Our server was very quick and made sure our order came up right.
The wings were on special, so we ordered a few. I didn’t care for the “hot wings” as they didn’t really have sauce or heat. The other thing is the size of them. They are about the same size as a finger. Don’t have a lot of meat to them.
My sandwich was the biggest disappointment. There was so little chicken to the patty it was more like a salad on a bun. The chicken its self was heavily breaded, and about a nickel thick. Couldn’t finish it. However my fries were really good.
Ryan ordered a bunch of different stuff and didn’t like any of it. He also was upset with the size of the wings.
The appetizers were the best part of the meal.
We went off hours for lunch on a weekday and it was empty.
The corned beef and sauerkraut were very well flavored.
Otherwise; the salad’s, sandwiches, staff, accommodating standards are what you want out of a good franchise.
