What a quaint, rustic cafe! I’ll let the photos speak for themselves on the ambiance. Favorites on the menu- dirty ginger tumeric chai and ham and cheese croissant breakfast sando. To die for. They also have very yummy gluten free bread. Surprisingly, the very affordable plain Primal coffee with housemade creamer is equally divine. Wish there was more seating and pillows for the chairs as they can be a bit awkward without lower back support (rolled up jacket worked just fine tho).
Very small quibble, the temperature is difficult to control near the door, but that’s to be expected. Overall lovely and delicious. GREAT decor. My favorite feature might be the deliberate, thoughtful coverings on the overhead lights. Brilliantly crafted with wood around the sides to minimize leak through, giving a warm atmosphere for sipping, reading, breathing. Bravo.

Great vibe. So-much-so that I even took a pic of their bathroom! Now That says a lot. Staff was super friendly, & I plan on hitting this spot up again next week. 5-stars across the board. Yeah, you should support this local business. Oh, and if you like black coffee… theirs was delicious. Thats a bonus star right there!

We were looking for a good cup of coffee on Saturday morning and decided to try Primal Coffee on Latah. When we walked in and found the place was packed, we knew that it must be good. We ordered two Primal lattes with vanilla. I have to say that it was one of the best cups of coffee I have ever tasted! The house made creamer made with sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon infused espresso and oat milk is amazing! If you haven’t tried Primal Coffee yet, you need to check it out!

This is the best oat milk latte in town. They make their own, in-house oat milk, so it’s not filler and oils and does not upset my stomach. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly.
They have gf quick bread and it was good and had just a hint of cinnamon.
It is easy to miss this little spot, tucked away in a neighborhood, but you do yourself a disservice if you don’t give them a try.
They have about 20 seats inside and a few more out the back if you want to sit outside.

The owners have created something special with Primal coffee. I love the atmosphere, it’s eclectic and cozy with an always awesome staff. They have house-made chai, and a house made primal latte which should be your go-to if you’re unsure what you’d like. They have phenomenal pastries which are made locally. Lastly they have the best prices in town. A primal latte will run you about 5.50 which is a good deal in my opinion.

We had high hopes about this coffee shop considering the ratings, but Primal Coffee let us down. I got an Americano with caramel flavoring and my husband got a decaf mocha. My Americano tasted chemically, flat, and a little sour. I’m guessing the caramel flavoring was sugar free or low sugar, causing the chemical flavor. If that was the case, 1) sugar free caramel is an abomination and shouldn’t exist and 2) I should have been informed that an abomination was about to be applied to my espresso drink. If it wasn’t sugar free caramel, then what the hell! I threw away most of the Americano. My husband’s mocha was obviously made with powdered chocolate flavoring that wasn’t very chocolaty, and it wasn’t well mixed at all. It had a grainy texture, and once my husband got toward the bottom of the cup it was just sludge. The shop itself is OK, with several seats, and plenty of parking. We had quick service. But the drinks left much to be desired.

This is one of my favorite spots for coffee and chill. I love the atmosphere and the coffee is pretty amazing!! Plus you get your coffee poured into a locally made ceramic mug you can buy or leave. Gluten and dairy free options.

Such a vibe! Also their gluten free bread is the best in town, and generous size. Most places charge extra and yet gf bread is half the size of normal slices, not here though! Super delicious sando, flavor explosion! Coffee and the chaineapple express were super good
