I recently moved to the area, and this shop is within walking distance. The Google reviews looked great, so I gave it a try. I called ahead to order, but the man on the phone seemed shocked—he even asked twice if I was sure I was calling Prima Pizza. Strange, but I brushed it off.
Fifteen minutes later, I picked up my pie and garlic knots. The pizza was small with a hard crust, and the garlic knots tasted like freezer burn. Overall, not a good experience.
It appears Prima is under new management and the standards have sadly dropped. What used to be delicious pizza is no longer. Tried to call on a Saturday night to schedule a pickup of a regular pie. I ended up having to walk down to place my order. Was told 10 minutes but ended up having to wait 20. Pizza that was served was hot but crust is thin (Prima had thick delicious crust previously!) and told the man behind the counter the phone was off the hook and was given a rather confused look. This is our last visit of this pizzeria unfortunately.

This is our go-to spot. Great pizza, great garlic knots, and always tasty and fresh. We usually have a small wait but it’s okay especially when the food is good. Prices are reasonable and affordable, nothing like getting a pie, 6 knots, and a pinwheel for a total of $25 with drinks. Love having this neighborhood spot!
