We stopped by Prik Nam Pla in Somerville and it was fantastic from start to finish. We ordered the chicken soup, crispy pork soup, and kapow chicken stir fry — every dish was packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. The soups were rich and comforting, and the crispy pork stayed unbelievably crisp even in broth (a small miracle). The kapow chicken stir fry had just the right amount of heat and depth — the kind of dish you keep going back to long after you’re full.

On top of the great food, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly — the kind where you feel like they’re happy you came in. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for Thai food that feels both authentic and elevated.

It was a rainy Saturday morning, desperate for carbs and sustenance. We sat down in the best Thai restaurant in all of Greater Boston. And honestly, I’m fr fr, this place truly NEVER misses. It is so damn good. Best little Thai cafe in town. Makes my day, my week, my month even. Always gotta come here when we’re in town.

Originally only got some mango sticky rice for take out but when I went in, the restaurant smelled so good. I ended up getting the red curry as well and it was perfectly spicy and sweet. One of the best curries I have ever had and good serving size with decent amount of meat. Will be coming back for more soon!

Quite glad I found this Thai place. As an Asian, I’m a sucker for good authentic Thai food. Had the Pad Thai and it was awesome. Not too sweet, and the shrimp that came with it was nice and juicy. I also very thankfully ordered a side of fried pork, which was deep fried fresh – this is a def must try. Only bummer was that it doesn’t come with any dipping sauce. The lady at the counter mentioned that I ought to try the curry noodles next time, and I’d sure be back with some friends to try it out.

Updated April 23, 2025 lunch specials are still good and only a little more money. The veggie dumplings are noticeably smaller but I understand costs are soaring for ingredients so sympathize. Updated photos for the same dishes below are now served in trays vs in bowls a year ago. The long counter is gone and have been replaced by tables which is better. I still recommend this place. Great food and service.

Lovely service and mostly authentic Thai cuisine. The lunch specials are a great deal at $12.95 for entree and appetizer. We had red curry with chicken and masaman curry. Both had great heat and spices. The most delicious part of the meal was the appetizer. We skipped the gyoza option (not Thai) and had what they called vegetable dumpling. The server explained it rarely is offered in a restaurant but is Thai. I forget the Thai name despite asking her twice what it was. I wanted to research it ao I could learn how to make it. It’s not really a dumpling but more like a triangular crispy puff of green veg and something soft. Terrible description but you will need to order it and see for yourself. Great place.

Excellent Thai Food
We had the Steamed Shumai (4pc) which were decently sized and tasty
Panang Curry was very tasty, came with rice
Khao Soi was also excellent, the crispy noodles were good, the chicken was very well cooked, and the seasoning was perfect
Mango Sticky Rice was pretty good

They also have lunch specials that come with 2 gyoza or crab rangoons and are about 12 dollars. Only con is the restaurant itself is small so there is not a lot of seating. The waitress was attentive and kept our water full

Will definitely be coming here again

This place was quaint and small. The food came quick and steamy. I would highly recommend returning. I had udon low spice with tofu, green curry and chicken, Thai iced tea, and mango sticky rice. For the green curry I would suggest going medium spice. Low spice is canceled by the milk in the curry.

Truly excellent food and service. The Khao Soi is so spicy and delicious. The chicken wings are just fab. Their Pad See You has that nice sweetness. Their drunken noodles have a light kick and are full of Thai basil. They’ve immediately become my go to Thai restaurant.

Cute little spot right off Davis Square. Ordered the drunken noodle and khao soi (beef). Both dishes were delicious! The staff was extremely friendly and we felt taken care of. Will definitely be adding this spot to our list of places to return to.

Love this new Thai restaurant! I appreciate that they have the classics but some other dishes like the beef stew that you don’t see at every Thai restaurant. I LOVE that they have Khao Soi, and they really do it well. Their Thai Tea is some of the best I’ve had in the area too! Overall this is an amazing place for takeout or a casual meal.
