We went to Prezzo for Valentine’s Day and honestly had one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Even though the restaurant was clearly very busy, the whole team were amazing from start to finish and the atmosphere still felt relaxed, welcoming and special.
Orlando looked after us throughout the evening and his service was absolutely exceptional. He had the perfect balance of professionalism and personality — attentive without hovering, friendly, genuine and made us feel completely comfortable and looked after all night. Despite how busy it was, nothing ever felt rushed and he still made the time to make sure everything was perfect for us.
The food was top notch, came out at a great pace and everything tasted incredible. You could tell the whole team were working hard, but the quality never dropped for a second. That level of consistency on one of the busiest nights of the year is seriously impressive.
What really stood out though was how Orlando made the night special for me and my girlfriend. He brought great energy, made us feel welcome from the second we arrived and genuinely made our Valentine’s night amazing. It’s rare to get service that makes you leave thinking about how good the experience was as a whole, not just the food.
Huge credit to Orlando and the rest of the staff for handling such a busy evening so well while still delivering incredible service and top quality food. We left smiling and will definitely be coming back again.

When it said Italian afternoon tea I was originally a little sceptical. However, it was an absolute delight. A lovely change from the standard sandwich, cake and scone options. The Arinchi balls were delicious and the foccacia sandwiches were super. If you prefer a more savory afternoon tea then I would highly recommend it. Amazing, we just turned up. We hadn’t booked and it was really busy.
Myself, my wife and our granddaughter were travelling to Bournemouth and had been directed off the M3 due to roadworks.
We ended up in Romsey and all very hungry.
The manager pulled out all the stops and managed to get us a table.
We found all the staff Amazing, the food was absolutely delicious.
Thank you so much for looking after us, we will be back.

Everything felt quite rushed. It was clear the staff were under pressure and could have done with some extra help! Everyone was lovely and polite but took ages to order desert and when we did want to order what we wanted wasn’t available. If we had been told this when given desert menu we could have made another choice but it took so long we decided not to bother in the end. Also i think our garlic bread got forgotten as took ages to come and we had to ask again for it. The atmosphere wasn’t great either. We were seated upstairs on a sloping table. Lots of families were seated around us with children making loads of noise (we were a couple on a date night!) Not exactly a romantic ambiance. Working in customer service myself I feel more attention needs to be given to anticipating the needs of customers as individuals. Also hate all the QR codes directing people to order and pay on the app – people pay good money for dining experience. They have no place here

It’s our first time visiting this restaurant in Romsey, easily accessible from bus station up around the corner which was convenient for us travelling by bus, entering via the garden which must be enjoyable under good weather though it’s not yesterday.
Atmosphere inside was quite cosy as it was an old house I supposed, we sit near the fireplace, it would be great in colder months when they lit it up with real woods sitting there; as to food choice, always good to choose from the menu, be sure to download their new app, check in every time when you dine there, you’ll get a reward via the app & have all your activities in the app for you to remember with, we have ordered few plates to share with & a bottle of prosecco to enjoy, dessert to finish.
Hope they would consider opening one in Southampton High Street area, so that we can go & enjoy whenever we desire.
