We have enjoyed going here for dinner for years, however the last 3 times we have went for dinner has been a complete letdown. The last two times the kids ordered pizza and fries, the wife and I ordered steaks. The steaks were overcooked and it took another 35 min for the kids to get their pizza. Obviously the fries were made with our food because they came out ice cold. I will say that they took 50% off of the kids pizza but at 35 min after our food came out I believe that they should of comped the entire order. I truly hope they figure out what has happened in the last few months and fix it because we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere before.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!! The food was amazing!! The waitress was friendly and the owner came up to us and talked for a little while. He was making sure our food was good and was just super friendly! We will definitely be coming back!!

We wanted a nice restaurant that wasn’t a chain restaurant on a recent vacation. Drove over to Pretty Prairie and ate at the Steak House. The restaurant was clean and food was tasty! Paul was the nicest waiter! He was super kind and timely. We both had a delicious flat steak cooked to our liking with the best sweet potatoe fries I have ever had!! If you are ever in the area of Pretty Prairie, I would recommend a stop here!

Me and my dad came and at 2 delicious cheeseburgers. My dad is Don Green and he use to own this restaurant Don’s Place. They were nice enough to let us walk around the place and listen to stories of the past. They still make han cut french fries using the same potato cutter we put up 45 years ago.

We had a wide variety of dishes between all of us and everything was VERY good. Be sure to save room for the homemade pies. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The owners husband spent a lot of time ensuring everyone in the dining room was well taken care of. We will definately go back.

Hamburger was delicious and enjoyed it The homemade chips were excellent! Service was great! Staff was great! Went to try the steaks and was disappointed that we couldn’t get one. Those are done in the evenings only. Their website should tell you that. Otherwise you’re going to be disappointed making a long trip to a steakhouse that doesn’t serve steaks during the day. They close early every day to get ready for the evening shift.

Came in with a group of 40 people and the staff played their “A” game. The food was very very good. Will be back even being a 50+ mile drive. The cheese curds alone were worth the drive.

We love to eat here, the nightly specials are wonderful and the Management is awesome! This establishment is American owned and they support the community. The wait staff is good, and the drinks are perfect! Worth driving if you would like a small town experience!
