Went on a Friday night. Sweet tea was not sweet tea. Almost unsweetened. Salad was good. Corn was good. Steak was very disappointing. Ordered medium well got almost well done and very tough. Had a weird smell to it like eating a boar. Still tasted it the next day. Sorry first time eating here and was very disappointed for the price of a 30.00 steak. Service was great

I recommend making a reservation, as we were immediately seated. The booths are way more comfy than you’d expect and provide great privacy between customers. Chicken fingers looked large and came out way before our steak, which took 50 minutes. But wow, so flavorful, large ( ginormous) and taking the whole plate up. I made 3 meals out of mine. The server was kind and attentive, and our table was neat and clean. Conversations in the busy restaurant did make for an above average noise level ( but not as loud as the music at say Texas roadhouse or Chipotle even) so tolerable. We will definitely be back when the inner carnivore rises to the surface.I prefer giving my business to locals as opposed to the chains.

The food is spectacular!! Friendly, eager to help waitresses. A very family and community oriented setting, yet quite if you need a small corner inwhich to have privacy. Definitely will go here again when back that way.

I believe they have a food truck and store that serves their food which is so amazing. The atmosphere has music and wine in the comfy small town of Luverne and Brantley. The service is great and my entire family loves this place.

This was the worst experience we have had here. It took forever to get our food. It was cold when we finally got it. We ran out of tea. My friends steak tips had a spoiled taste.

Excellent!!!
The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the asparagus were perfectly grilled, everything came out on time and in the right order. The atmosphere is warm and comforting. Man, I tell ya, I’m glad I tried this place. I haven’t had a better steak at a restaurant in years! A+!

Preston’s in Luverne never disappoints. The ribeye steak is always tender and juicy. My husband loves the loaded sweet potato almost as much as the steak. I switch around the sides I get – fried green beans, onion rings, fried okra – they have all been good.

This was the BEST steak I have had in ages! Definitely worth the stop when traveling through Luverne. My husband had an appetizer of fried mushrooms. We both had a NY Strip with 2 sides. They were cooked perfectly, and were mouth-watering awesome. We finished our meal with a Chocolate Tort dessert (gluten-free for me). We met one of the owners, and she and her staff were super friendly, a great host of Southern hospitality! (I was so hungry, I took a couple bites before I remembered to take a pic)

We ordered two T-Bones, salads, baked potato and sweet potato. We ask for our Steaks Med well. They were bloody. (I told the waiter it was too bloody- no compensation as you could tell I ate only 3 bites) My baked potato tasted like cinnamon, it wasn’t good at all. My husband’s Sweet potato was burnt on the bottom and tasted burnt, The bread was awful, maybe it was a bad night but for $90 next time we’ll stick to Big Mikes! We definitely will not return, this was our first and last time. I left hungry.
