I come here in search of specialty whole bean coffee and I was greeted with a smile, a knowledgeable barista and a shelf full of beans. He made a few recommendations and even offered tasting (I declined this time but I’ll be back) I got 4 different varieties and I can already tell that each is going to be special in its own way for however I choose to brew it. I loved how when I told him I was pretty experienced in coffee he just kind of stood back, let me check them all out on my own, think about the roasts and decide which I wanted based on how I brew. I cannot wait to come back with my husband and embark on the tastings everyone else is talking about. I set out for phenomenal coffee beans and I found them! Thanks so much!

Was so neat! I loved all of it. I didn’t order any food but was impressed they offered it. I loved the low lighting. Creates a calm peaceful environment. The only reason I have 3-5 stars on Atmosphere was because the bar room was a little small but loved that, however the ladies as customers were loud. I’m just sensitive but they were friends enjoying themselves. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Even after I spilled my little coffee press. I will go back.

An incredible hidden gem of Shelby. I’m not a wine person, but the small coffee shop in the back was phenomenal. The owners are clearly passionate about coffee and love sharing their passion with their customers. The double espresso I had was incredible and so full of flavor and complexity. The beans are fresh and it seems like they even went the extra mile for special water. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

We had a great first experience here. Went with Ethiopian coffees. Sean was as hospitable as he is knowledgeable about coffee. Loads of cool seating rooms. We had a cold brew tasting and that will be our next choice. Super addition to the Shelby scene!

When we stopped here to “grab a coffee” for the road, we didn’t understand the experience we were about to embark on. Normally, we are a quick drive-thru/order via app on the go couple. We were so happy the entire time we were here and felt like we could have hung out at the bar for hours. We got to try coffees from all over the world and learned several new tips and techniques from Sean. The atmosphere, the conversation, and the flavors were out of this world. Its beyond refreshing seeing people with this level of passion for something exist and are hands on with their business. They care not only for what they do with coffee but also for how they deliver it. Press Coffee will definitely be a must visit on our list when we pass by. Oh, and their eco as heck to go cups are so cool! ☕️☕️
