Although I went to this restaurant to have some Italian food I discovered that it had switched from Italian to what I call American food. I’m glad they did. I chose the buffet and I was glad of it.Their salad was one of the best that I have ever had. Crisp, cold and a good mixture of a couple of lettuce types. Topping that were fresh veggies that included your standard toppings and meat like ham. Then I turned my attention to the entrees. Chicken fried steak that was just crispy enough and not oily at all. I hate oily chicken fried steak. I also loaded my plate with mashed potatoes, corn and some really tasty green beans flavored with bacon. All fresh and not over cooked. This was all followed with some peach cobbler and then I was full.
This may be a small town restaurant but the had a big town flavor. Try them out but remember that they are now American food.

Nice place in Jacksboro. Wish the buffet had just a few more options, but otherwise enjoy coming here. Frankly, just glad they even have the buffet option!
