honestly, this was the biggest crime ever done to the grove. One of the best pool tables for us locals was the one on the corner of the president’s lounge. For years I used to grow up playing on that table (keep in mind this is the 2010s) and we would all come here and enjoy some cocktails and sunset and unlimited free pool. Now they’re saying it’s a “historic artifact “as if they can’t replace it with a modern pool table and they’ve completely shut down that area of everything but pricey alcohol drinks. Avoid avoid avoid.

A do-it-once-and-never-again Asheville experience. The selling point for this space is watching the sunset. Which, true. It’s beautiful. But the window you’re looking out of to SEE the sun set is FILTHY. Like toddlers played in peanut butter and then wiped their hands all over the glass level filthy.
I was surprised at the lack of care that went into keeping this restaurant and the bathrooms clean.
The drinks were good, the bartender was friendly, but the overall experience was like visiting a Marshalls bathroom.

Totally ignored while sitting at a table so stood at the bar only to be ignored again even after speaking to both women behind the bar….I can take a hint so we left!
