A new locally owned restaurant located in the renovated Old West Louisville Elementary School which features from scratch American Ohio Valley Comfort Foods utilizing locally sourced meats, fish & produce. We offer a wide variety of home style foods, healthy gourmet salads, homemade soups, handmade seasoned fresh ground Chuck Burgers, Fried Green Tomatoes, Golden Fried Chicken, Locally Caught Pay Lake Catfish and other tasty treats. All our desserts are made in house and feature classic family favorites. We have a relaxed family environment and can accommodate parties both big and small. Carry Out Meals and Catering are also available.

This review is for the restaurant portion of the building only. Nice repurposed use of a historic building. Clean. Handsome decorations. Good service. We were there at approximately 10:30. They had both lunch and breakfast buffet options until about 1:00 PM. Buffet was the only option on the day we visited. Price was a little steep at $15/person. The price was the only part of the experience we didn’t enjoy.

Had the Sassy Southern Bourbon Burger for OwensboroBurgerWeek2024. It was phenomenal. I dont like pimento cheese, but the homemade pimento cheese they had on this was pretty dang good. I would have made a few small tweets to the burger. Top three of the ones i have tried.

We ate here for the first time tonight. Everything we had was DELICIOUS!! My grandson said his chicken was “finger licking good”! It was ALL like eating a home-cooked meal without having to cook it yourself. Can’t wait to go back. HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!! You won’t be disappointed!!

My friend and I like to eat at different restaurants and we found this one to be a gem. The Chef has a great menu for everyone but I especially enjoyed the fried green tomatoes. I enjoyed the atmosphere. We needed something like this near Owensboro. I highly recommend the food, the atmosphere and the Chef.

This restaurant just opened up at Preservation Station. Can’t think of a better way to spend a morning shopping for antiques and the getting lunch here. The burgers are very inventive and you can pick amongst many yummy sides including deviled eggs! Leave room for desserts which are freshly made, we were told, and very delicious. I would take people from out of town here for sure.

Not that good. Our food was cold.. Server forgot to bring us drink refills. Actually he never came back to our table. When we told them at registers they said he was,new??? Maybe they do Not realize he is misrepresenting their business.
