This is, hands down, the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Halibut, Spot Prawns, and shrimp combinations. The owner Jim and Diana are always there, both great people honest and entertaining. Ask Jim when caught the fish, you’ll honestly be surprised. If you try nothing else in the area, eat here! As an added bonus, you will be supporting the local economy of Hyder, a a very small town of about 40 people.
Turn off the road at the Alaskan Seafood sign, swing right and you won’t miss it. Don’t miss it!

Stumbled across this spot but it was delicious. Diana was really great to talk to as well. The halibut was perfect and a serious slab of fish, the spot prawns were delicious as well.

Delicious! The best and most fresh halibut I’ve ever had. We had the fish and chips today and since we’ll be in Hyder for another day, decided to return to have lunch from “Premier Seafoods” tomorrow. Be prepared to wait as this little restaurant owned by a local couple is well known. The husband catches the fish. The wife cooks every order after it’s received. It’s worth the wait! Cash only, and you can pay in American or Canadian currency. There are picnic tables where you can eat outside in the neighborhood.
