Diego and his coworkers are awesome as hell. The service they provided was some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. Service was engaging and attentive… You’d want to chat with Diego for hours.

The food itself was solid. I had the chicken milanese and the Panna cotta, the lady had the salmon and the cheesecake. The decor was old school, in keeping with the theme of the Mansion itself.

The restaurant is a bit too hidden to get to, for my taste. But the service alone was worth the trek. I hope management takes care of the waitstaff as if the rest of the Mansion gets updated, these guys can make it a really nice place to stay at.

Waiter was excellent, the food was just okay. The side dishes were cold, had to ask to microwave them to heat them back up. The steak was over cooked. The red velvet waffle for dessert was hard and cold, very skimpy on the vanilla ice cream that came with it. However, the truffle fries and the apple dessert were delicious.

Took my mom and dad here for Father’s Day. The place is absolutely gorgeous on the outside. Once you get inside it’s equally majestic but there aren’t any signs, go upstairs two floors. When we got there we were seated immediately because the place is empty. Our appetizer order was taken quickly but never given to anyone so it had to be taken again.

We all ordered the filet mignon – dad wanted rare, I wanted medium rare, mom wanted medium. There are 3 options for sauces so we each picked one. ~20 minutes later the waiter told us sauce #1 was out so we switched it to #2. ~20 minutes later the waiter told us sauce #2 was out so we all switched to sauce #3. The filets finally came ~50-60 minutes after being seated (and after multiple tables after us were served). They were all well done. We sent them back and didn’t get the new ones until ~30 minutes later. Again, they were all well done.

The waiter was really nice and really apologetic the whole time. I asked for the manager who also was really nice and offered to make it right but my dad was fed up after ~90 minutes so we ended up leaving.

Overall I guess my opinion’s neutral. It’s beautiful outside and inside and everyone working there was very nice (and apologetic). I just can’t understand how after we told them the first time they didn’t cook the next ones more carefully.

So if you can survive the climb to the 3rd floor this restaurants got a cool vibe. Like a secret in the attic with a great bar, feels like a speakeasy. Great food, they have a good Pre Fixe menu. It was busy but service was friendly and the manager Richard check on us a few times. We will go back.

We came during Restaurant week attracted by the impressive menu offerings. My husband and I both ordered Wild Mushroom and Truffle soup for our first course which did not disappoint. It was creamy and full of finely minced mushrooms and a slight hint of truffles – had the chef added a bit more truffle butter or truffle oil this soup would have been spectacular, as is, it was a very good and filling soup. Bread on the table was not warm and was on the chewy side. My braised red wine short ribs were a bit crisp on the outside but tender inside (exactly how I like it)however there was no sauce served with it so it was a little dry. My husband’s Chilean sea bass was served with a marine sauce similar to a lobster sauce which made it quite good. The sides consisted of perfectly cooked fat asparagus, tri -colored carrots and mashed potatoes. For dessert we had the very good orange sorbet and well-portioned mini calzones filled with Nutella. A good selection of wines by the glass was offered. Service was quick and efficient adding to a very enjoyable dining experience.

I had a chance to try their new menu with my friends for valentines day. Food was AMAZING! I absolutely loved the wild mushroom and truffle soup. I could drink that by the bowl fulls. The scallops were fantastically fresh and seasoned just right. You can’t go wrong with the parmesan fries with truffle butter (but who doesnt love truffle fries) Their chicken wings were my friends’ favorite. They were naked which is why it was not too heavy even though they were fried. We also had the surf and turf and we also had lamb chop as our main entrees. Both were cooked perfectly. And last but not least for dessert! We had the nutella and the chocolate tulip. So pretty in its presentation and very refreshing with the crisp n chilled berries in the middle. Portions were generous service was top notch. AND its just a short drive to feel like you’ve gotten away from the hustle & bustle of NYC. In the great words of the former governor of California…. I’ll be back!!

Any star rating higher than 2 must be rigged this place is a joke the manager eating the last steak so when we ordered the steak there was no more. this place should be condemned.
Wrinkled rugs to trip over feces unflushed in the toilet when we entered the room.
I am looking to book another room as we speak. I booked this room for two nights, this is a terrible place I do not want to stay here a second night.
If you have trouble walking or are handicapped you cannot stay here there is no elevator and lots of stairs and you have to walk outside if it’s raining to get to your room in a separate compound.

I spent 10 dollars trying to play different music from that same 5 songs that were playing on repeat only to have the speakers turned down on the music I requested and the music turned up on the SAME 5 SONGS that were playing before. I don’t know how the bartenders don’t go absolutely nuts listening to the same songs over again. Burgers were overcooked. Food was edible. Only saving grace was the staff who were awesome.

Ordered the prefixe menu, for my first course I had wild mushroom and truffle soup which was pretty friggin awesome with the bread they provide for the table. For the second course, I had the surf and turf, the filet and lobster tail were both perfectly cooked and at the right temperature. For dessert, we had the nutella calzone, I’m not much of a sweets person but it were perfect with a cup of coffee.

Other notable items were the naked wings and truffle fries! Must try them!
