The Beginning… We started back in September 1997, as Main Street Café, offering Prattville a place to get a sandwich, oysters on the half-shell, and a COLD beer. As Prattville grew, Main Street Café became the place where the locals met after the sun went down. In 2000, meeting the demand of our regulars, we expanded, installed a full kitchen, converted to Pratt Pub & Oyster Bar, and the rest is history. Unfortunately they were out of fresh oysters but we’ll go back.We had the seafood platter and the fried grits cakes with crawfish Etouffee. YUM! Beware if you have respiratory issues the atmosphere is smokey.

The meatloaf was excellent, a little spicy with mushrooms and onions. The sides were well seasoned. The patrons were friendly and the staff was attentive. I would definitely go back.

Set your expectations accordingly… this seems like a great bar and it seems like they do a lot of events.
The smoking was overkill, I grew up spending a lot of time at my parents s it usually doesn’t bother me but everyone in our party left reeking like cigarettes.
The oysters were terrible, oysters should be ice cold and not room temperature. The chicken wings were undercooked to the point where I was only willing to risk the first bite and I’m not sure where they got their “Buffalo” wing sauce but I would stay away from that as well.
On a positive note, the prices are good and they love Donald Trump. If you love Trump, rippin darts, and Miller Lites… this is the spot for you! I’d go back if I wanted to get blackout drunk.

Small restaurant in a plaza next door to a bowling alley. The patrons and staff are very friendly. Learned is was a local pub. We really enjoyed the time there and we had an awesome waitress who checked on us all the time. There really is customer service at this pub. The food was very good.

Now this place was described to me as a dive and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The lunch was meat and 3 and it’s obvious they know their way around a kitchen. Every single thing on the plate was great. I had county fried Chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac and cheese, and green beans with corn bread. My sweet tea never ran dry and the staff was friendly. It was far better than I hoped and I will be back for some more. My only disclosure would be to be prepared for an unbridled political opinion on every surface, if that’s not your cup of tea and you don’t want a side of politics then you’ve been warned

Dayna D. was our waitress, and let me tell ya… She was absolutely amazing!!! It’s been a long time since we’ve had a waitress that actually talked to us and still served every single table (total of 6 tables while we were there), and never skipped a beat! Never let our drinks run dry and had our food out hot and fresh! Beautiful personality also!! Every waitress could learn a thing or two from this awesome lady! Thank you, Dayna, for an amazing visit, for the both days we were there!!!

I had previously left a relatively bad review due to some bad service. However, I have never had that happen again.
The meat and 3 lunches are outstanding! The chef salad is very good.
At dinner, the food is even better!! I haven’t had a bad seafood selection. Highly recommend the Captain’s Pasta and broiled flounder dinner!! The shrimp and oysters are delicious.
I’ve never had but fantastic service since that one time. Miss Alice (owner) truly wants to know if your food was good….or bad. As she says, “We can’t fix it if we don’t know about it!”

First time checking this place out. First clue upon entering should have been the heavy odor of cigarette smoke. I’m a smoker and smoke outside of the house. This actually gave me a headache. Service was slow but the waitress was there cheerfully checking on our beverage level. Fried mushrooms were good and love to have more of the horseradish flavor in the dip. Hubby ordered the seafood platter, nice light batter and plenty for one order! I ordered the Cajun Seafood Bowl. Presentation was decent, could use more flavor (salt-spices). Overall, good food for a Billard/pub if you can put up with the smoke.

Great atmosphere, friendly people and staff, excellent food! Good selection of drinks too and live music on certain nights. Highly recommend the award winning grit cakes, first time having it and it was really good.
The only downside was the smoking inside which is cool that this place allows it. Be prepared to walk out smelling like it.
