Dayna D. was our waitress, and let me tell ya… She was absolutely amazing!!! It’s been a long time since we’ve had a waitress that actually talked to us and still served every single table (total of 6 tables while we were there), and never skipped a beat! Never let our drinks run dry and had our food out hot and fresh! Beautiful personality also!! Every waitress could learn a thing or two from this awesome lady! Thank you, Dayna, for an amazing visit, for the both days we were there!!!

Great atmosphere, friendly people and staff, excellent food! Good selection of drinks too and live music on certain nights. Highly recommend the award winning grit cakes, first time having it and it was really good.

4.5 stars. Everything that we had was good except for the boiled shrimp and second round of oysters. They tried to make the shrimp right, but they just didn’t have the right kind of seasoning. Fresh pork skins, fried crab claws, Etouffee, seafood bowl, prime rib, green beans, and loaded bake potato were good. The second round of oysters on the half shell was rotten. Overall, we will definitely eat here again when passing through. The atmosphere was upbeat as we were treated to a mini band (?). We never saw who was singing.

Noooooo. Loved the ‘sports bar atmosphere but we went there for the first time to EAT! First, the food took over an hour, so we had a couple of beers. The food was cold and Prime Rib not very tasty at all. It’s called blackened (may be because of the cold grease) that it was not good. Fried oysters? (Well, it was July) horribly overpriced and so tiny. French fries…..yuck! Then when we got check, the beer had almost doubled on price. (Server said, “well, we’re not in happy hour anymore, so the beer price went up. Really? We had been there during happy hour waiting on our food!! Don’t waste your time, especially if, like us, out of town. Mostly local folks that are there to DRINK!

My husband is a picky eater and let’s just say a needy customer. Our waitress did not disappoint. The food was amazing! We will definitely be back next year when driving through.

4.5 stars!! Good food! No drafts; nice bottle selection. Waitstaff is very friendly. Service is good! Only drawback for me is the smoking since I have asthma. But that’s on me!
