The interior is really neat. Very much an old, rustic cabin feel. There were lots of locals the night we went.

The chicken wings were very good. I like the thin breading a lot. They were big and juicy. The sauce wasn’t quite what I’d like but that’s probably a preference issue more than a quality issue.

I had the pasta. The noodles and sauce were exceptional. Unfortunately, the shrimp were way over cooked. I probably would have given the food 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that the shrimp a $12.00 add to the pasta and were rubbery.

The drinks were good.

We’ll definitely be back.

Overall, it was a great experience.

I have been going here for years, the staff and food NEVER disappoint. There’s nothing that I don’t recommend. However, I mainly get the steak and shrimp and try whatever dessert they have at that time. Their Crème brûlée has been a repeat fave of ours. They do have a small pull tabs machine and keno for down time. Lots of drinks, wine, and beers to choose from.

This is such a neat little neighborhood restaurant/bar.

My mom lives literally walking distance, so every time I come visit, we always pop in for a good home cooked meal.

I’ve been here probably three or four or five times, and I always see the same friendly faces.

I had NO idea that this place was even for sale, but apparently new owners bought it a few months ago. Had I known it was for sale, I might have tried to buy it.

It’s always busy in there, and I even think sometimes there’s a short wait. They have outdoor seating bar seating table tops, jukebox, and the place is really clean.

I can’t remember the dishes I’ve had prior, but this particular visit they had a special of German pot roast, with red cabbage and dumplings?

It was so so good, and I liked the fact that the chef went the extra mile and plated it with a flower and a gingerbread cookie. He even came out of the kitchen to ask me how I liked it.

Every time I visit my mom, I will always come back here. I really like this place and you will too!

This place was recommended to us by a colleague. Food was really good and the service super friendly and attentive! We had the onion rings, the special fish of the day and a cheesecake to die for! The rustic atmosphere inside is very cool! Don’t miss their Tavern chips! The dip they come with is addictive.

I feel it’s a hit or miss here. We ordered onion rings, which I feel weren’t crisp enough. The clam chowder was mostly potatoes and was served cold until we brought it to our waiter’s attention. The sandwich I ordered I felt was pretty good, however, I didn’t like that it was served with chips from a bag. What grandma ordered was the shrimp, we’re the size of 31-40 lb which is fairly cheap shrimp to get at a grocery store compared to its price.
Service was open and welcoming to us.

Food was decent, menu was small burgers, sandwiches and a few entrees that included steak they also have shrimp and fish basket and while lobster tails if you call 48 hrs in advance. The service was just ok we waited a long time to order in a not busy place.

Stopped by on Mother’s Day weekend for dinner. The building is nice lots of atmosphere, like an old up north cabin. Food is typical bar food, not bad but not great. $6 for a draft beer. When we were there they had the music on really loud, it was 6 pm. Greta van Fleet and the Toadies at full volume isn’t great dinner music. Asked the waitress if they could tone it down she said “I don’t control the music.” Not what we were hoping for. Probably won’t be back.

I have not been to this place in such a long time, but the food is hands down so good. The fried mushrooms and onion rings were so good.
Staff was so nice.

Awesome local spot with great food! Walked in around 4 pm on a Saturday, there was one table occupied and thought they might be closed… One hour later, every table was full and a line around the building.

Burgers were great and highly recommend the beer battered onion rings.
