BEST MEXICAN FOOD HANDS DOWN. Jose was the best. Ordered a steak torta special with rice and fries for less than $14. The quality of steak deserves 10 stars and the crunch on the bread lasted thru the whole meal just amazing food. Fresh real fries and the salsa verde is fire. Will never go anywhere else but here. Its got classic diner vibes and a really good variety grocery too. The spices and imported goods are what I get, since they can be hard to find elsewhere. So worth stopping by!

Food was good, only problem is the ridiculous pricing for the combos. Will probably be my first and last time stopping to eat here. Paid $40 dollars for a single torta and a taco combo mind you this had no drinks. Go to la Huerta in mchenry and you can get the same thing for 25 dollars with a drink. Same or even better quality

My family and I always love to eat the tacos from here, they are amazing! I especially recommend the asada, al pastor, and chicken tacos! You will not regret eating here! And all the staff who work here are very nice! 100% recommended

The best tacos ever come Tuesday for 2 dollar tacos and they will not disappoint. So many choices it’s amazing. Also service and atmosphere was awesome they cook infront of you and the music is a 10/10 highly recommend

I absolutely love this place. I came here for a Spanish project and now I come here at least twice a week, so often that they remember my order. The tacos are great and the best part is they have a discount for crystal lake central students. Would recommend.

the chicharon tacos are very delicious but still quite expensive. what bothers me is when I went there. they advertise chicken tacos $2.50 each and I ordered 2 chicken tacos. I was charged $11.00 I asked why so expensive? that’s not what is advertised? the owner took the sign down and told me. that was yesterday and now it’s over. other places usually honoring the mistake but not them. my impression of them money is much more important than customers that keeps the store afloat. my wife and I since then we decided to go elsewhere for our groceries. we will travel to Carpentersville for our groceries. everywhere else they look at us people that we are their customers not like a piggy bank and ready to be drained by them. Tuesday tacos are smaller than a malnourished mouse and still overpriced.
