If you’re a Cheesesteak lover, Philly style, I highly recommend Prados in Newark! I love everything about this place, only drawback the inside could have more room for additional tables but the food, Serb ice and atmosphere- oh and prices- are spot on! I had onion rings with my cheesesteak they were good too! No parking lot but there was plenty of on-street parking and the guts that work there are super helpful and pleasant! Don’t go to Prados – Run to Prados!! Highly recommended!

It’s a small spot and there’s only street parking. Very much a hole in the wall. But you don’t go here for to enjoy a dining experience. You go for the food……although, there is a ledge to eat on which is great for people watching.
I ordered the Brick City Sub and it was really good. Best sub I’ve had in awhile. Plenty of meat and cooked to perfection. Wifey got the Cheese steak sub and she loved it.
Service wasn’t the best around, but it was decent and they were fast. They even have some desserts. Got the tres leches and it was solid. Definitely coming back.

Only short 1 star because it was a little pricey and pretty hot inside the place. The cheese steaks are on point here, had the brick city and a regular one . It came on a Christmas plate in August which if you know anything about the hood that’s the best sign you could get a place cause you know the food is gonna be on point. It was best cheese steak around, hands down I don’t live in Newark but I’ll drive out there again if I got a craving because they really do delivery. The workers are friendly, the cheese steaks themselves are huge, a half is like a whole sandwich.
