Great experience with great food. We arrived at the tail end of the live music but even that was great. We went on Taco Tuesday and i highly recommend the shrimp tacos. Definitely a place i will be returning to.

Server didn’t offer help to remove chair to accommodate my wheelchair. Chowder was less than mediocre (where were the clams?) and akin to canned soup; I didn’t eat it and mentioned it to server who defended their alleged recipe. Nothing was taken off the bill. Crab cakes flat and tasteless and plopped onto plate with no garnish except lemon wedge. Friend’s crab and shrimp in her full louie order were wet and so obviously frozen. Salad portion of her louie was ho-hum. Had to flag down server for more tartar sauce. No second knife for butter. Never asked if everything was okay. Less than mediocre food and bad service. Had to literally wave my hand in the air for long time for server to bring bill. Never going there again and I’m spreading the word. For almost $75 for a luncheon for two, it was, indeed a disappointment.

Crab and shrimp sandwich was tiny. Went to McDonald’s right afterward. Bar stools uncomfortable because no foot rail on bar. Side salad pretty basic but the staff was great and they had the Giants game on, day game.

The small town feel if this semi hidden gem could never be replicated. It is an oasis for the tired after work local crowd or the tourist looking for a place where they want to know your name. Eat yummy food, drink your favorite kind of beer, I promise they’ll have it. You can chill in the back patio with the misters in the summer shade. It’s literally perfect, smiles on everyone’s faces, make new friends or hang out solo. You can also enjoy musical entertainment a lot of nights of the week. Also Friday karaoke with Bonnie bartending is awesome!!
