We came to the restaurant on March 6. The place was almost completely empty. We had several shopping bags with us, so we politely asked if we could sit at a table for four, simply because there was no space to place our bags at a small table for two.
The waiter refused and suggested that we just put our bags on the floor. We then asked to speak with the manager, expecting a more reasonable solution. Unfortunately, the manager’s reaction was even more surprising. From the start he was noticeably negative and категорically refused our request to sit at a larger table, despite the restaurant being practically empty.
When we said that in that case we would simply leave, the manager started waving his hands at us, gesturing for us to go away.
Honestly, this was one of the most unprofessional interactions I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Such behavior from a manager raises serious questions about the standards of service in this place.
If this is considered normal customer service here, it says a lot about how guests are valued.
I hope the restaurant management can comment on whether this kind of treatment towards visitors is acceptable in their establishment.
What truly surprised me, though, were the sides. The mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, but the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower nearly stole the spotlight. Perfectly roasted with crispy edges and a deep, savoury flavour, they added texture and balance to the meal — bold, addictive, and far from the usual “just a side” dish. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience that I’d gladly return for.
Chicken: The chicken breast was rather soft and powdery? But the thigh is slightly better. The mushroom sauce is good.
Ox tail: I enjoyed the ox tail pasta. It was delicious, the ox tail is soft.
The mushroom soup is super good as well.
Desserts: The creme brulee is rather chocolatey and abit too thick. The tiramisu has too much cream, and too little ladyfingers.
Overall, its alright. Nothing too special and not worth the 4.8 stars. The staff gets customers to give ratings so their ratings are overrated. I think it should be maybe around 4.1 stars instead.
The win was the sausage little toast. And we went on a Sunday evening peak hours.
Most restaurants I try it, really goods then recommended . If no good then I didn’t recommended.
I tried Poulet restaurant really tasty & yummy. Specifically their signature roasted chicken , so soft & nice. Mushroom soup fantastic taste & creamy. Pasta & mango pudding also good . I definitely will go and try other dishes again.
I had the pan-seared bass which had a good texture and taste and it didn’t have a strong fishy smell, the truffle fries (which was recommended by many but I thought it was just alright) and the milk pudding, which was soft and not overly sweet so I liked it.
