Had a fish fry the 16th of January the fish fry was like always awesome, but whoever thought putting horseradish in tartar sauce was a good idea was wrong. Keep it the regular way…I had to make my own tartar sauce at home.

I got the cabbage rolls which were excellent. The mashed potatoes and gravy were well seasoned and hot. My partner got the Buffalo chicken tender sandwich which was MASSIVE and also very good. The fries were hot and good too. The rye bread was also tasty. Definitely recommend!

I ordered takeout. Do yourself a favor and order the Polish platter and if you want to make yourself happy the next day, the pick 3 pierogies. They have polish platter. Was everything! The sweet and sour cabbage is to die for, as well as the meats. It comes with. It’s the best meal I’ve had in a long time. 10 out of 10 recommend

Update 5/29/2024: Posted some pics from our recent visit to Potts to illustrate the relatively small size of the place. The entirety of the dining room in shown as are two plates of their 3 pierogi menu option ( one with a side of sausage). Had it been me were trying to find a restaurant; reading various reviews to hopefully minimize the odds of having a really terrible meal, and came across similar photos- I have to admit that the place probably would’ve been filed closer to the bottom of my top ten list. Which is the point I’m trying to make- you just have to go there! The second you take your first bite of; honestly, the best cheese pierogi I’ve ever eaten in my life- you’ll get what an unassuming, hidden surprise it is…. Anytime we’re remotely close ( within a half hours drive) of Potts, we make sure we stop in to eat as well as buying dozens of frozen pierogies to take home with us. Even after having outpatient surgery at nearby Buffalo General, we still went out of our way before going home to go to Potts. I can still remember how shocked I was after going there for the first time years ago. From its location and outward appearance it’s extremely unassuming. I don’t say this lightly; but you need to try it. I promise that you’ll have one of the best meals of your life.

I used to really like these pierogies but the last ones I bought were so bland! I bought a bag of potato pierogies and there was no flavor to either the potato filling, (which tasted like they took plain boiled potatoes and mashed them up and put them inside), not the dough. although the texture of the dough was really good, (a bit thicker, but soft) it was also bland.
