What a great little place! Natalie and crew are making pretty much everything in-house and it shows.
Tried to eat a little lighter and failed. That chicken salad sandwich on sourdough toast was just too good to put down! Solid chili too.
The price point for my meal? $9.50. That’s not bad at all!
Most definitely coming back and also plan to bring a trail riding group in for lunch again during the summer of 2026. We overflowed the place in 2025 and everyone seemed to love their food.

Stopped here on our way through town. It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while! The service was very friendly, the food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was cozy. We had the Farmers Special – eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast! All of it was something I’d get again. Their deserts and bakery items looked amazing too. If you’re in the area – make sure to stop in! It’s cash only – so plan accordingly.

Great place to eat breakfast or lunch. Got a chocolate malt shake which was great! Breakfast orders were “Lumberjack” big & very reasonably priced. Highly recommend even though off the beaten path.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday late morning. It was busy, but we were seated quickly. Service was slow. The menu has descriptions. I ordered a large breakfast set and a cinnamon roll. The eggs were cooked very well. They toast was thick. The bacon gooooood. The hashbrowns were undercooked. The cinnamon roll was cinnamon bread loaf with frosting poured on top. It was good, but not a cinnamon roll. Would eat here again.

We stopped here 20 minutes before close and they still sat us. Ordered the hot beef and chicken and fries. Portions were gracious and couldn’t finish the hot beef.
Was a nice stop on the trails.
Will be coming back to try breakfast sometime.

Good food and a very nice waiter but a ridiculously long wait for a simple breakfast. They weren’t very busy and we waited over an hour for our breakfast, they need an upgrade to their kitchen so they can pump out food quicker.

We look forward to breakfast here every time we’re Upnorth. Eat pie first or you’ll be too full! A half loggers special with one extra egg is a huge breakfast for anyone (add blueberries to your plate sized pancake.) Great small town charm and service. Come once and trust me—you’ll be back!

Adorable small town family cafe. Everything is homemade. Prices are reasonable. Decor reminiscent of a 50s diner, complete with coca cola fridge and malts!

There is not one thing about eating here that I don’t like besides that I can’t do it more often. Everything is just how it should be. So friendly and homey. Perfect!
