I always have a great experience here in Potpourri of Flavours every time we come and visit Altona. Every one from their team is warm and friendly, from the server, the cooks, and the owner. The food absolutely tastes delicious. My go to is their dynamite rolls and tempura, but always tries something new like chicken sisig, roasted beef, and ramen. This is a must go to place when you’re in this lovely town.
Potpourri of Flavous is highly recommended! ☺️

I had such a wonderful meal at Potpourri of Flavours last night and I’d highly recommend it! This place is a real gem for anyone who loves Asian and Canadian food.

The Food: Every dish was fresh, hot and perfectly seasoned. We shared a few appetizers and two main courses, and each bite was fantastic. The homemade burger was especially memorable—packed with flavour and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.

The Service: The staff here are incredibly welcoming and efficient. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience.

The Atmosphere: The ambiance is lovely—clean, comfortable and a relaxing environment to enjoy your meal.

Whether you’re a long-time fan of Asian food or just looking for a new place to try, Potpourri of Flavours really goes above and beyond. I’m already planning my next visit!

2nd go around here and better than the first. Tapsilog spot on. Only complaint is no onion or tomato in the egg, but that is easily overlooked as soon as you taste the atchara. Slightly different variation as they don’t include raisins, but the pickled papaya is so good. Spiced vinegar is also very good and compliments the garlic fried rice nicely. Super weird to have a fantastic Filipino restaurant in the middle of a Mennonite area, but from what I hear the locals gravitate to more traditional North American dishes that are also served here. Haven’t tried the boba, but seen +++ people pick it up.

Diverse menu, great service. Authentic dishes and flavours you might not have tried, alongside the regular comfort food you want. We had brunch, some of us with traditional North American dishes and some with their twist on things. Consider yourselves lucky to have this restaurant. Open on a Sunday too, bless ’em.

I especially recommend the Lava Burger. Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had. Must use a fork for it. Comes drenched in cheese sauce in a hot skillet

This place is amazing we didn’t even know it existed! They have everything on this menu from Asian fusion to Canadian food and the burgers are absolutely amazing! The hamburger steak my husband had was amazing we were actually there with six other people besides myself and my husband and every one of us ate everything! The burgers are homemade and they make a wonton soup with veggies and noodles that looked amazing and the veal cutlet was huge was just an amazing place to have a meal.

The most interesting restaurant in Altona. It certainly is a “Potpourri of Flavours”. The chef really understands where he is and knows his audience. Mixing common western dishes with typical Filipino cuisine on his eclectic menu, chef owner Jose is gently introducing Filipino dishes and flavours while making it easy to find something familiar for unadventurous eaters. Altona is seeing an increase in Filipinos to the community who must be glad to have a place to eat and gather. Food is central to both Filipino and Mennonite cultures, it’s great to have Potpourri in town expanding horizons. Definitely try Filipino breakfast.

Mixed menu of Phillipino/western cuisine.
Delicious food – the spring rolls are amazing and their fettuccine carbonara is very tasty.
They also have many desserts and take home treats to choose from.
