Brunswick is a small town and there weren’t many options for dinner and we asked a local who recommended Potomac Street Grill. All of us were quite happy with our meals there. The restaurant is a bit difficult to find at night. We passed by and didn’t see its sign. Once we figured out where it was, we could see that their sign was really old and was no longer readable. The location is on an old time city street with a nice public parking lot across the street. The restaurant is dated and wasn’t as well maintained as it should be. We sat beneath a window with blinds that were a mangled mess. But the reason we came here was for dinner. Our meals were very good. We had Seasoned Salmon, a Chicken Parmesan sandwich, a chicken wrap and a dinner salad. Service was good and our waitress was warm and friendly while staying efficient doing her job. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and we got the last available table. There’s a lively bar that also was at capacity with patrons enjoying themselves. While not every aspect of our meal was perfect, it was still a good experience and we would try this place again the next time we are in the area.

Wow! What an awesome little restaurant. We had just spent some time on the river tubing and everyone was hungry. Not really familiar with the area we looked up what was near and tried this place out. Everyone was impressed and they have a great variety of choices! Gyro was awesome and so was the Chicken kabob dish. Loved the eggplant appetizer. Definitely a place i will stop after tubing again. Highly recommend this place. Food and service was 10/10!!!

We were looking for quick food after kayaking in the Shenandoah. This place looked like a reasonable option.
I was expecting typical American grill fare. It had that as well as a lot of Mediterranean options. We got the Lamb Shawarma, Sujok, Stuffed Grape Leaves and a Moroccan soup. It was all good. The Moroccan soup was great. I would have been happy to have a lot more of that.
The staff was very pleasant. Service was quick once we got seated. We sat in the small area outside since it was a nice day.
Prices were very reasonable.
I’m really glad we stumbled onto it.

A great place to stop in for some food. Everything was delicious, came out fast, and the staff was awesome. The only issue was they did not have air conditioning which made it uncomfortable since it was hot.

Best kept secret of a canal town. Consistently good food, wide variety of drinks and food always delicious and fairly priced.

Absolutely AMAZING! The swarma and lentil soup were so delicious The waitress was super nice and attentive. It is a small place but a must go to if you are in the area. I’d have a picture of the baklava too but it was eaten so fast

Incredible service, amazing food, low key vibes. Very jole in the wall but the food was spectacular. The service was friendly and professional, everything was perfect. We went here with a party of five and it was timed perfectly. Very clean and such a quaint place. Thank you so much for the excellent experience!

Had dinner here last night and loved every bite. Quaint little spot with old tavern vibes. Service could have been better but a great dinner shouldn’t be rushed so I wouldn’t leave a negative mark for that. Excellent!
