Since 1978, Potomac Pizza has been one of Maryland’s most delicious and beloved family restaurant favorites! We use the freshest ingredients to create both our traditional and specialty pizzas and we offer a fun and memorable atmosphere that local residents have come to depend on. After taking over the now “Original” Potomac location in 1995, it became apparent to us that our customers loved us and that we needed to expand. We opened our Traville location in 2003 and Chevy Chase in 2006. Our College Park location opened in the Summer of 2017. Our Newest Location in Middle River will open in the Spring of 2020. We look forward to growing with the communities that we proudly serve. Offering 100% Free Delivery, no fees’!

We went to Potomac Pizza near Friendship Heights station and it was soooo good. The ingredientes were fresh, pizza was nice and hot, and it came out quick. We ordered the large build your own with pepperoni, ground beef, and black olives. I’d recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a good pizza spot!

Potomac Pizza delivers on many levels. The pizza is fresh and the salads are good. Good selection of beers and drinks and a very super clean dining room and outside seating, something that the company should really promote more prices are reasonable for Washington price tiers and other than closing pretty early this is a great place for a casual meal. The waiter brought water right away with a lemon wedge and a chilled beer glass -doesn’t get better than that for a pizza place.

Despite all the wonderful reviews this place wasn’t at all up to my expectations. My side caesar salad was good but the steak and cheese was truly a disappointment. All lettuce, tomato and onions very little meat and SO MUCH bread ! The staff was friendly and helpful. We were slightly chastised for ordering to go and sitting in their dining area which was slightly off putting and borderline rude as we made three different orders. Solid Pizza / Italian restaurant chain in a casual atmosphere with many different food options to choose from. We were in the mood for pizza, and each ordered a personal margharita and personal cheese pizza. Both were tasty, yet not overwhelming. I would have liked my cheese pizza to be a bit more crunchy, but it was still fresh, and right out of the oven. We also ordered garlic knots, which were particularly good, along with a cup of tomato basil soup. The soup was also very tasty, but was really small, even for a “cup” serving. Atmosphere was clean and spacious, with a few TVs tuned in to local sporting events. Service was friendly, and our server checked in frequently to ensure that we had what we needed. Definitely recommend for a pleasant, quick, casual meal.

I am disappointed with my experience here, the place was fairly empty when we arrived, we placed our order, 2 individuals pizza, nothing crazy. Waited for almost 40 mins to get out food, in that time frame 3 different tables were filled and served their food, i saw the server avoid eye contact as she should have noticed it was taking too long, we were about to get up and leave when the pizza arrive. I would say the pizza was good but the wait and service left a lot to be desired, ohh and of top of that they got my wife’s order wrong. I would give 2 star because the pizzas had a good flavor.

They did refund the transaction, I would be back to try them again as I mentioned the pizzas were good, I was just turned off by the service. Hopefully it will be a better experience.

I went to Potomac Pizza on the day I arrived in Washington DC in the evening and I was very tired after a long day flying from London UK. I was so hungry since I’ve last eaten on the Plane coming to Washington DC so after arriving at the Hotel, I decided to go and have a nice big Pizza at Potomac Pizza and it tasted so good! The service was very quick and the staff were very friendly afterwards. I reccommend it if you’re a European tourist from the United Kingdom like me who needs to grab something filling after a long haul flight from Europe.
