This is a nice place. The location surprised me. I saw Keys Ferry and thought it was in the square. The steak over fries with the spicy sauce (or there’s a sweet one) was tasty. I would’ve given 5 stars but I like more peppers & onions. It was a big serving of food. Awesome prices! I want to go back to try the breakfast.

Came late in the day an hour before closing. Ordered shrimp fried rice, tenders, sprite and coke with whiskey. Charged me $23 for a sprite with cherry flavoring. An hour later the cook comes out asking why ppl still waiting. The lady cashier forgot to put in our order after I told her I didn’t eat all day and we’ve been traveling. Why would I go to potlucks only for alcohol? Now bc it’s so late there wasn’t anymore food of what I ordered. I wigged out. I told her she over charged for the sprite, got refunded the over charge of the sprite. Asked about the refund on food. She tried to refund me the cheapest food item I purchased on the menu. I demanded that we got my $30 from the shrimp rice plate I paid an hour ago. Horrible experience. Disrespectful. She kept repeating “oh he so mad he don’t wanna talk no mo” I said all I needed to say at that moment. Give me the food I paid for and the money you tried to steal and I’m on my way. No need to make disrespectful comments because of your own mess up. Get your act together. The food quality is not an issue. It’s them older ladies who work there forgetting stuff. When you do a customer wrong. Do the right thing and give the them the food and the proper change. Don’t try to argue and scam me by trying to refund me a different food item that you didn’t provide me with. If I didn’t receive the shrimp rice. Refund me the $30 shrimp rice not a $15 tender plate. Will never go back here bc of the disrespect and anger I had on this night.

Edit my review : I’ve been coming to pot lucks whenever I’m in town for around 3 years now. Today was probably the sadest sandwhichs I’ve ever received from a restaurant. Unfortunately I won’t be back. Lady up front was super sweet however the value was not there for a 15 dollar sandwich and fries. You can see the major difference between sandwich’s.

The sandwich was good. Good portion of meet and cheese. Meat is seasoned well so no need to add salt/pepper. The onion rings were perfectly cooked but too much salt/seasoning for me. I love that it was cooked to order

Edit: after giving a third chance, we ordered hibachi with vegetables, and when we got home, we only had vegetables which we were charged $4 for. We went back to tell them the rice was missing and were charged another full $12 for a hibachi rice and vegetables. When we got home, my first bite consisted of a very long black hair. We will never use this place again. First pic two months ago. Second pic tonight with hair.
We’ve frequented this place the last year. It was great. However the past two orders have not been good. I ordered medium rare steak with hibachi rice. The last two orders the steak is well well and like leather. Today the rice tasted like it was cooked on a grill that burnt something before it, and it was so soaked in soy sauce I couldn’t finish. It’s like the burnt taste was trying to be covered up. I think it’s going downhill from what it was. I hope they pull back out of this. For $18 for my one dish, I feel like this is unacceptable.

customer service was good and the food taste pretty good, when ordering the chopped cheese I didn’t know it came with a sweet sauce on top or tomatoes so I kindly asked if they would mind remaking it for me. They remade it with no hesitation but I did over hear one of the cooks saying “this is the last time because these customers need to know what they’re ordering before they order it” which is understandable, I get the frustration that’s why I’m still giving 5stars but that was a little rude of them considering the cashiers don’t mention anything about what comes on the sandwiches but it is still my responsibility to know what I’m ordering. I still recommend this place as a good restaurant to get food from !

Food is always fresh! Wings are good size, and packed with flavor! I have had all their sandwiches and they are worth the price! Best place to eat in Ola, especially on Sundays. I always call my order in and it is ready by the time I get there. Also business is family owned, and have a great staff.

We wanted to try this place out as they are new to our area. We ordered the jerk chicken platter which came with 2 sides. We picked sweet potato soufflé and smokehouse Mac and cheese. Everything was SO flavorful and delicious! All of the staff were friendly and helpful! We will definitely be ordering again. If you’re on the fence about trying this new place- try it!
