First time visiting this gem in West Asheville, and I’m absolutely in love! The ambiance is fabulous, super cozy, colorful, and intimate. It honestly felt like I was hanging out in my own living room (but way more beautifully decorated). The space feels very private and thoughtfully curated.
The menu offers a great selection of savory snacks, desserts, and wines. Our server, Josy, was mind-blowing! She gave us amazing recommendations and truly elevated the experience.
I originally went in for an espresso martini, only to discover it’s actually a wine bar, and I’m so glad I did! Josy recommended a bottle of Lambrusco that I absolutely loved. We also ordered the cheese board, which was very reasonably priced and delicious. And the chocolate coconut tres leches? Incredible. A must-try!
They had Latin music playing, which I personally loved, it added so much to the warm, vibrant atmosphere.
The vibe of this place is just amazing. 100% recommended!

First of all – absolutely incredible menu, one of my favorites from recent spots we’ve been. We were only there for drinks after a small brunch nearby, so we got a weird but delicious mix of mostly non-food. Ice cream and cocktails and amaro? Never thought of it before, but sign me up. Fairly easy to miss even with an A-Frame out front, Potential New Boyfriend’s outside is unassuming and inside is…garish and gaudy and a little impersonal. I kind of get the inspiration, and the lava lamps and colors and CRTs are appreciated but not quite the right match for such a great menu. Every flavor of ice cream we tried (vanilla, chocolate, cereal milk(!)) was delicious, and just $5 for a small scoop. I had a couple smoky/sweet amaro and sherry with mine, and the wine matrix was an appreciated help for choosing what I wanted next. More on the wine matrix – my favorite part. Amaros, wines, vermouths, sherry, and more all carefully and thoughtfully labeled and graphed so you could go from herbal & sweet to dry and fruity without knowing anything about what you’re ordering. Very cool. Always nice to have your hand held through trying new spirits without being too needy and hands-on from the server. Speaking of service – very quick, friendly, and helpful.

Cool spot with a great menu but an interior missing some comfort (but doing just fine on music) – we liked it for dessert and drinks, but can’t wait to go back for more small plates and interesting, curated sips.

Feels like hanging out with your friends in your glamorously decorated fantasy living room. The decor and seating areas are well furnished and intimate but inviting, great music rotation, and really delicious ice cream. Great vibes, will return.

10/10 experience, very funky and vibey. Grilled cheese was delish and during HH you get a free scoop of ice cream with a glass of wine. Amazing playlist too

my favorite spot in west asheville. amazing ice cream and a curated wine and vermouth list that is easy even for a dummy like me to navigate. the staff are always so kind. Josie and Disco are helpful. I love the vibes here and the music is always great. I highly recommend the membership, you get access to a secret menu. I’m thankful for a local business who is vocal about their beliefs and their support for the community as well.

My new dessert spot for sure!

The ambiance of this place was super cute. I lived all the color and couches, which made it very cosy.

The desserts was amazing. Had the miso caramel ice cream that was delicious. Not over powering with caramel flavor. Then we had the Millie which was a puffy pastry with lemon cream also very delectable.

Service was great!

Will be recommending this stop to locals and tourist.

I will be back for more treats soon!

I came for the ice cream! When I heard about this place, the ice cream jumped out, although it’s also a cool place with wine selections and records being played.
I was deciding between sundaes, and loved the way I was helped with my selection – do you feel more like fruity, or creamy? I was in a fruity mood, and got the blueberry mint sundae. The ice cream was unctuous, the mint brightened the blueberries, there was a thick blueberry compote, the small chunks of lemon cake balanced out the flavor and added a different texture, and the dried mint leaf garnish was crispy. Definitely savored this ice cream, a delight for the mouth!
There were a few ways you could choose wines – not my thing, but helpful to hone in on what taste you want to go for.

All-around 10/10 experience! The service was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. Our group ordered a bit of everything – apps, a mocktail, wine, tea, and dessert – and every single thing was phenomenal. The vibes were perfect, the sound immaculate, and the mid-century aesthetic spot on. Easily my new favorite spot!

Lovely little place! The atmosphere is swanky, homey, and comfortable, with a fair amount of seating including multiple cozy sofas.

My partner and I both had a glass of red, a dessert wine, and an affogato. Everything was great! We were both blown away by the dessert wines – we don’t normally love dessert wine but the folks at PNBF have chosen some fantastic options, because we LOVED what we got.

Our server was polite and friendly, we felt very looked after and appreciated his recommendations.

Highly recommend this place! The perfect cozy, aesthetic, vibey spot for a date night – or any night involving wine or coffee – plus great music.
