When we walked in, nearly every table was dirty. There was no employee at the counter, no one greeting customers, and no one cleaning. The front area felt completely unattended. We had to search just to find a table that wasn’t covered in crumbs and mess.
The drink station was absolutely filthy — sticky, caked with old spills, and clearly not maintained. It was honestly disgusting.
When we ordered, the food looked like it was slapped together with zero care or quality control. But the most alarming part was being able to see behind the counter into the prep area. The kitchen looked completely chaotic and dirty. If that’s what customers can see, I can’t imagine what’s happening out of sight.
This experience showed a serious lack of cleanliness, management, and basic standards. I would not recommend this location, and I truly hope ownership addresses these major issues immediately.
This time:
Prime Rib Steak (Regular Menu) – White bread, caramelized onions, Swiss, garlic aioli, and their amazing hot peppers. Flavor was great and melty; only wish there was more steak.
Fireball (Underground) – Italian meatballs, chili, cheddar, and hot peppers. Messy but so good, easily one of my favorites.
Combo tip: Skinny Trio (turkey, chicken, or ham + cheese) comes with chips and a drink. But pair a Skinny with soup or salad, and you can choose any Skinny sandwich. Soups are surprisingly good—baked potato and chicken pot pie are musts.
Bread options are just white and multigrain, but toasted to a soft crunch that works perfectly. Zapp’s chips, shakes, cookies, and their $7 jar of hot peppers (best giardiniera mix you’ll find) round out the menu.
Friendly staff, clean store, and a small patio. Pro move: Add hot peppers to everything—they’re free and take every bite up a notch.
Kind of reminds me of pickleman’s. It wasn’t busy when I got my food luckily. Very clean place. Even the restrooms smelt like heaven.
I like my sandwich. I got the Italian with hot peppers and hot peppers ain’t that bad I think it actually gave it more flavor. Broccoli cheese soup was good.
I think everything was okay. Staff was good.
They rinse but don’t clean. Left the ice cream lid open and was scooping out sugar milk.
She started putting something I didn’t ask for on my sandwich and when I told her no. No. she looked like I was crazy. It’s just a sandwich.
Took over 5 minutes for them to mosy over to ring us out as well.
I was excited to try it for the first time.
As soon as I arrived I said to them it is my first time so not sure how it works.
He looked a me and said: come to this side to order.
From them was all rude and not nice.
I was trying to look for some information how this work, found on the side the instructions.
He did not spoke to me at all. I was there waiting, her mate was looking to him awkwardly and you can clearly tell they do not get along.
He said she will give you the sandwich.
She asked me if I want to add something so I Asked her, oh sorry did not know that , what can I add? She roller up her eyes and pointed over her head.
Oh I see I said I just did not ask for anything just some aioli bc I felt embarrassed.
They did not even give me a check.
I would not recommend this place to anyone also unfortunately it was my first and last time there.
Most recently I’ve gotten wreck combo with small drink/chips. Recently it was $15, today it was $19? What gives?!?
Staff seem miserable and way bothered when I asked in person what the deal with pricing was….
EDIT – since management won’t answer the question, 1 star
