I’ve been going to Potbelly’s restaurants for over 35 years and this is the first issue I’ve ever had at the Rockford State Street restaurant. I ordered two sandwiches online went to the store picked up my food drove home they ended up giving me the wrong bag and on my way back they called me and let me know they had messed up and they were going to give me a refund I got to the restaurant the nice lady gave me two cookies my sandwiches and the salads I had originally been given drove back home opened the sandwiches and found out they’re the wrong sandwiches or at least the wrong size they were skinnies and not originals then I called the store and let them know that they gave me the wrong sandwiches again and to find out where my refund was after calling they had finally refunded it ,I will more than likely go back to Potbelly’s because I’ve never had issues and I like their sandwiches after all of this it was a 30 mile trip. The people working in there need to be more careful what they’re handing out and what they’re putting in the bags.

It was cold night and wanted soup and sandwich. Picked up the order got home and realized they didnt put soup in bag that I paid for. Called and said they would credit and they did not.I will not be going back. I understand mistakes happen , but they lied about giving me credit. Potbelly lacks attention to detail.

Sad to say this….I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened. I received an email saying I could get free avocado on a sandwich just today only. The email encouraged me to go to potbelly so the marketing strategy worked however, when I got there, the girl at the register didn’t know how to put the daily deal into the register, and I had to pay full price. The manager came and looked as well. She just shrugged her shoulders and said she didn’t know either. Maybe train the employees on daily advertised specials. The email didn’t say I had to order online? It only said no phone or fax orders. Not only did they get me into the store. They got me to pay extra for something that I wouldn’t have normally purchased. My advice is to ask if they know how to put fiscounts into the register before ordering.

I wasn’t a fan of PB when I tried it years ago, but I gave it another chance a few months ago and it’s a really good quality sandwich shop. The meat portion is generous and if you download the app, you’ll have more selection and be able to order your favorite sandwich ready for you right when you arrive. Highly recommend!!

Some white young guy working there assisted me in popping my Potbelly cherry. Oh it was good. I had the wreck. I suggest adding bacon and cooked mushrooms on it. The broccoli cheddar soup was on fleek. The chips were too salty, but it’s ok, next time I’ll get cookies instead.
