THE WORST POTBELLY SANDWICH since my first potbelly experience in 1987. The sandwich was hard and cold as if had been order hours earlier. The bread and meat tasted like rubber and nothing the toppings I asked for were missing. DISGUSTING & Dirty LOCATION. I am certain this was definitely someone’s sandwich ordered hours ago- Stay away from this location- it’s truly the worst and it sucks. BUYER BEWARE ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

As I sit in the dining area eating my chicken salad sandwich. It has been a delightful experience to see the employees be so friendly and welcoming to each guest. This is not my first time here but my first time witnessing the shift in the atmosphere. The guest walk in and EVERYONE speaks. When you make an add on the Entire staff repeat the request – one team! The location is clean the table is clean. No one had an attitude and made me feel like why am I here! This has been a pleasurable experience. I will return. Also yes my food was even better

Ordered 2 sandwiches, took over 30 minutes even though place was dead inside. Staff was incredibly slow and did not seem to care about my experience or my time. 2 employees walking around doing absolutely nothing. Didn’t get order until 12 minutes after quoted time.

So this place opens at 9 I get there at 10 on yesterday morning. They have no soups, chilis, or Mac n cheese ready. I order a big wreck sandwich. Had to repeat my order of course. Then the lady says to me when you pull around stop behind the yellow pole which is code for I’m not going to have your food ready and we don’t want corporate to know that we’re a bunch of screw ups. Save you money, time, and energy and make the drive to the location in Oak Lawn

It should go without saying, double check your food before you leave! It was early, it was not even busy, thought nothing of it, but I should’ve known when I had to repeat my order that it would be wrong.

You can definitely tell they hate their job. Went in at 10, didn’t come out til 10:20. Ordered a shake too just for the little girl to tell me, “you really bout to make me, make you a shake after I just put everything away.” Like it’s your job??? Also gave me the wrong size when I asked for the skinny. Must be a joy to work with.

I see so many negative reviews about this spot and the management. Not sure what its all about, I showed up and the dude at the cashier was cool af. He helped me with the food side it was our first time. Also helped us with getting free sandwiches. The food was also good. Not the best but really good. Maybe try going into places with better attitudes and you will get the same energy back.
