I hadn’t been to this place in a while—the last time I came, I had their pot pie soup and liked it. So I decided to order again. I placed my order at 7:45 for an 8:30 pickup and got there a little after 8:30. When I got home and opened my sandwich to heat it up, I was really disappointed. There were just a few tiny shreds of turkey on the sandwich.
I called the store to let them know. The person who answered said they weigh the meat and that what I got was the right amount. I told him both sandwiches barely had any turkey, but he just kept repeating that they follow their rules. He put me on hold, then came back and said there was nothing they could do because they were closing soon. He didn’t offer to fix the problem or even say sorry.
For $7.99, I expected a better sandwich. All I saw were a lot of vegetables and only a small amount of meat. I should have gone to Subway instead. This was a waste of my time, money, and gas. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I really liked the sandwiches. The taste and the ingredients that goes into the the sandwiches are better than any subways. Also, the shakes are tasty as well. The employees are nice and polite. Also, loved the setting and the various NIU souvenirs that can be seen in the store. Although, they should allow tips in cash and add a tap jar since tips can only be paid in credit cards and not cash.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY! EITHER POTBELLY HIRES REPUTABLE DRIVERS FOR FOOD DELIVERY OR THEY NEED TO STOP OFFERING IT. ORDERED, PAID, DELIVERY DRIVER PICKED UP FOOD FROM STORE AND THEN NEVER DELIVERED SANDWICH. POTBELLY EMPLOYEE STATED THE DRIVER “CANCELLED” AFTER PICKING UP THE ORDER FROM STORE. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND.

Everything is awesome EXCEPT your dumb doors!!! Fix them please!!! I have watched customers walk away because they can’t open them. I know my 100 lb daughter would NOT be able to get them open. STUPID!!!

I apologize in advance for the lengthy review. I just wanted to say I had an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish today (12/3/20). I called around 1:15 to place an order for delivery, and the lady I talked to on the phone was extremely friendly, pleasant, and professional, even though it was very busy. She apologized for having to go through door dash or grub hub, I can’t remember, and for the (minimal) wait time, because they did not have a delivery driver for the day, and were very busy. She could’ve told me to order through door dash, (my words, not hers), but she was happy to take my order over the phone. She in no way complained about being busy, nor seemed to show any stress, anger, or inconvenience. This girl can work under pressure! It was such a smooth transaction. In fact, she said she was very grateful for my purchase, and thanked me multiple times for being nice and accommodating. (I had absolutely nothing to be upset about, but she was grateful anyway). My food got here very quickly, was absolutely delicious as usual, a lot for a good price, and there was even a friendly and personalized hand written thank you note on my receipt. I hope nobody gets in trouble for me saying this, but they even threw in a cookie for me, and it made my day. I only wish I caught her name, but hopefully the date and time will help with that. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience, I will absolutely order from you guys again!

The staff at this location is SO NICE! My boyfriend decided to try a new soup and asked the worker how the soup was, but the worker hadn’t had it yet. Well my boyfriend loved the soup and went back to the counter to tell the worker how good it was and the worker talked to him for a few minutes. It was a great experience!! The worker also recommended the broccoli cheddar soup for me, and it was so good I came back the next day to have it again

Seriously my favorite sub shop in general but talk about one exceptional, kind and compassionate staff. I ordered for my daughter and I without realizing I didn’t know where my phone/wallet was when I went to pay. I had enough cash on me to cover my daughters food but not my own. I was feeling humiliated and then of course worried not knowing where my belonging were. They comforted my panic by offering anything to help the situation and gave me my sandwich that was already made while tears were forming in my eyes in front of my kiddo. My phone was recovered and all was right with the world. There is no way to truly summarize how special that experience was. The staff was an exemplary moment of human connection and support. Thank you so much for your warmth and decency towards my daughter and I. It’s the kind of ripple that makes waves as it gets paid forward. And of course my sandwich was amazing.
