This review is only because of the service. This happened Saturday 11/08 around 4pm. It was my first time to Potbelly and I had a terrible experience. I didn’t know it was like “subway” style and I went directly to the cashier. The guy making the sandwich was so rude just to tell us that we needed to go to the other side to start rhw order. Then he moved and didn’t tell us we had to move along with him so he was screaming at us and we couldn’t hear and that’s when again he rudely said we had to come to where he was. When the sandwiches were done he threw them at us on the counter. The whole time he was rude and had this very unhappy face. This is definitely not the service I expect.. definitely not coming back.

Aaron helped me at the register and was so kind as to go above and beyond with his customer service. I made a snarky comment about the sugar cookies looking a bit overdone to which he heard, and asked if I’d like to look through another stack of cookies—in a pile underneath the counter? I appreciated his willingness to ensure my experience was nothing short of amazing. I then went back to my car and found a receipt from a month before, and noticed he was the cashier helping me that time as well. It’s rare finding people who work in customer service and display commitment and dedication to their job, and for that I’m appreciative of Aaron’s help!

I want to preface that this review is so low solely because of the service. Workers are kind of judgemental and confusing. He was staring at me like I was crazy, but at least the food was good despite not being exactly what I wanted. I’ll probably come back some time, just with the hopes of a new worker being there.
Update: I ordered a mediterranean sandwich and they didn’t give me half the toppings that actually come with the sandwich. Could’ve been a misunderstanding because the dude was so soft spoken, but why would I order a mediterranean sandwich ONLY to get chicken and feta, when it normally comes with avocado, red peppers, etc.

Went inside to order and the guy at the counter told me they were closed. Door was open. People were in there. Then someone went in after they told me they were closed and got food. Well, this will be the last time I stop here. And to think, I’ve consistently tipped these clowns in excess of 20% for sandwich making. Way to lose a customer.

This restaurant canceled a catering order one hour before it was supposed to be delivered. First, they called me saying they couldn’t deliver it anymore, so I scrambled to call my customer to see if they could pick it up instead. My customer agreed to do so, but then the restaurant called again just an hour before pickup to cancel the entire order.
The manager blamed me, saying I should’ve given them more notice, even though I placed the order online the day before, and the system allowed it. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend using them for catering, especially if you’re depending on them for business events.

We found this piece of plastic on the sandwich we bought tonight. It was sharp on edges and I almost swallowed it before took it out. Very careless and worst service. It is very serious issue. I am taking this issue to next level.

Ordered online, missed an entire sandwich, come on. If you can’t trust them to count to four items, can you trust them to wash their hands or keep their kitchen clean? Seriously, they gave me 50% of the sandwiches I ordered, that’s pretty egregious.
