I placed an order here on 12/8/25 for a bowl of chicken pot pie soup. I instead receive a bowl of loaded baked potato soup. When I called, one of the managers picked up. She sounded to be a younger or middle-age Caucasian woman and her attitude was DISGUSTING. In a rude tone, she explained that that loaded baked potato soup was all the restaurant had and that’s what I got. When I proceeded to ask why I wasn’t given a refund, she hung up on me. I tried to call back and she didn’t answer. I called back again and the gentleman picked up the phone. He was a little more respectful and tried to make an excuse for this woman stating that the restaurant has been extremely understaffed for months. As I explained to him, I’ve worked in customer service before and that was no excuse to be rude. I am hoping that management sees this review as someone with her attitude should not be in leadership or even employed at Potbelly. I work not too far from this location and have ordered from them several times before but I will not be returning.

Love Pot Belly’s toasted Cubano sandwich with extra peppers on the side. They also have breakfast sandwiches. Convenient location on High Street across from the Ohio Statehouse.

Stopped by after a busy morning enjoyed A Wreck combo—$15 all in with a regular drink and chips . Sorry no pic—it was delicious. Sandwich was perfectly crafted with prompt service. Ate outside using their patio seating on a beautiful spring day. They have awesome fresh brewed tea which is hard to find nowadays.

I did not like the pizza sub. Gross. So disappointed. I dropped the other half on the ground and kicked it (and then picked it up and put in the trash). Just ordering pissed me off cause they keep telling me what to do and where to stand. The commercials lead me to believe that was a high end sandwich shop but the meatballs (in the “pizza sub…pizza?”) were cheap processed “meat”. I wish I could get my money back. Just a small disgusting sandwich. Besides the meat being gross, nothing else saved it; not the sauce, the seasoning, the bread, the toppings, smell, customer service …… You can tell I’m upset with this franchise. First and last time. I wish I could get my money back.

I LOVE THIS POTBELLY
My mom introduced me to Potbelly when I first started my job in the city. Let me say, life changing. Their sandwiches are one of the best in Columbus. They never fail me. I typically order online and pick it up because the line is long. Anytime I pick up my sandwich and mac n cheese always stays warm.

But I am mainly writing about what happened to me today (11/7/25). I accidentally placed an order to be picked up at 9:45 AM. When I realized I made that mistake it was already 10:30 AM and I called the store letting them know my situation. I never got the employees name but I asked her if I was still able to pick up at 11:30 AM and told her that was my mistake for not paying attention. She told me they could remake my food but I told her that it was fine because it was not a big deal if my food was cold by the time I got there because I have microwaves at my job I could just heat it up and again, it was my fault not theirs. Mind you I was already having a terrible day so ordering my food at the wrong time added to that. She told me that she could try to leave it warm the best she can, which I was fine with and repeated saying, “if its cold, I do not care because I can heat up, it not problem for me, but thank you I appreciate it” When I went to pick up my food, the same employee who answered the phone gave me my food but also gave me a free cookie for my mistake, I did not ask for the cookie nor did I order it, she just gave it to me for free. In that moment I wanted to give her a hug because that was something that made my day better.

So thank you to that employee who made my day 10x better. I hope that the manager or someone from this location sees this and rewards that employee for her act of kindness and thoughtfulness. I give her all the flowers. I also want to note that my food was indeed still warm when I picked it up. This is why I love Potbelly. <3

I had the gyro wrap and it took them time to prepare and serve it considering that I ordered it during breakfast. They handled it well. I also ordered a fountain coke and a macaroni salad. The wrap was hot and fresh and the macaroni salad was refreshing. The fountain drinks are not weighed down with the sodawater and was sweet. Nice place, great people- loved it!!!!

Hard working employees and tasty food! Would have been 5 stars if they could get a handle on the app orders…they need a better process to fill the to-go orders in a more efficient and timely manner.

I started a job working at the Statehouse recently and discovered PotBelly as a great lunch option. I’ve been here like 6 times now over the past two weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed my meal every time. The food is amazing, the service staff always friendly and you can even see the teamwork happening while you wait for your order. Keep up the great work!

I’m visiting from out of town and Potbelly is not a chain local to me. I had an excellent first experience at this location. Dae and his coworker were great. They were extremely inviting when I walked in and also offered suggestions about the menu and the surrounding area. I didn’t know Potbelly was a chain until I looked into it after. Based on the personable experience, I totally would have passed this off as a local, genuine mom and pop sandwich shop. Oh and of course the sandwich was good, too.
