Potbelly is a new to Ms chain sandwich shop. They also have wraps soups salads toasted sandwiches chips drinks shakes and cookies as well as a host of toppings you can add. The food was very good. The service was also very good. Hardly got my foot in the door before being greeted. The atmosphere is a mix of old fashioned eclectic and artistic. When you go in keep an eye out for the submarine. I finally checked out the new Potbelly in Flowood, and it was a hit. I ordered the Southwest Avocado Wrap with a side of mac and cheese, and both were fantastic. The wrap was fresh and flavorful, and the mac had that perfect creamy comfort-food vibe.
Friendly staff, quick service, and a great atmosphere. This spot is definitely going on my regular rotation. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should.

We had the original Prime Rib Steak sandwich, my son had the original Pizza Melt and I had the original Mama’s meatball sandwich. We also had “the wreck”. We also ordered two kids Mac&cheese meals(which are free with adult purchase on Friday’s starting at 3pm-close on Sunday for 12 and under). They also have shakes! Strawberry and chocolate ones were good!
Update: second visit: we were missing items, no utensils and cashier was rude. I’m hoping this is due to them being new and it was extremely busy, causing them to be overwhelmed. They did not honor the kids eat free as the cashier said it should automatically take it off on the register and it did not so it must not be valid despite the signage saying 3pm Friday-close Sunday.)
We will likely return in the future when it is not “new”.

Great sandwich spot! Went last night around 7 and the workers were super nice and helpful. They were quick with it. Place was clean. And I love that the workers interact with you and have conversations making you feel welcomed definitely makes this place more enjoyable.

I wish I could put words together into sentences that could correctly explain this, but here goes nothing, Pure and unadulterated greatness, with meat that taste fresh, like turkey, that taste like the turkey you eat for thanksgiving.

The staff is super friendly and profecient.
The restraunt was all around, clean and well put together.
I have even heard the bathrooms are clean and smell nice. Definately one of my new favorite places to eat in the area.
I would recommend getting the $7.99 skinny sandwhich meal deal, you have your choice of turkey, ham or chicken (they are all delicious) and it comes with chips and a drink ( chip options: zappos, baked lays and cheezy curl if I am remembering right.) If you like a little “kick” get the chicken with sweet hear BBQ.
My overall experience so far would be,
I would give them 6 stars if it were an option. Sorry for no picture, but my order smelled and looked so good, all other thoughts went out the window, except experiencing the moment.

Well I had high hopes for this new sandwich shop. I ordered a medium Mediterranean for my spouse and a medium meatball sub for me.wasn’t a fan of either but mines was a disaster. One half of my sub had 1 and a half meat balls and the other had about 3. Giving the size of these meat balls I was soooo disappointed! Nothing but bread !!! Not to mention raw!!! Bad first experience!!

This place has the BEST Italian sandwich anywhere in Flowood. So far, every sandwich and salad I’ve had has been really, really good. I’m a huge fan of the bread they use. Will definitely keep coming back.
